Got my dash all cleaned up underneath where the cover goes, and I got the light sensor back into where it's supposed to be. She's all back together now.

Just spent 9 hours in a voucher line for bad vouchers because it's a screwed up system.. alot of unhappy people. ..

 

On the bright side I have the most well behaved dog ever.

I love the busy holiday weekends there, saves me from breaking my junk, I can sit at the bottom of test and watch amateurs break their junk. If I don't get bored I don't abuse my stuff

Finally put a battery in my 78 Jimmy. Didn't fire her up yet. Turned it on far enough to check an see if all the lights came on an they did! The radio still works, cb, power windows (kinda slow), power locks dont work (might just need some adjusting). Overall im pretty dam excited. Gonna try an fire her up Sunday> Keep your fingers crossed.

I would like one on my pickup. Dust and rocks build up on the plate the way it is from the factory.

Yeah it definitely made the truck actually look like it had more ground clearance plus you don't have the threads sticking out. I ordered them too long even though I measured so I gotta trim em down

Do you have a link? Would definitely be worth it, on my 1990 the bolts were rusted almost through where mud had gathered on top of the plate.

Ugh, my car need a claying. They are installing a new roof at work, have had fiberglass getting on it for weeks. Paint feels like 2000 grit.

Have an hour of absolute free time tomorrow, before I am seeing the new Xmen. Was thinking about running by the GMC dealer, wanted to look at the new Denali truck and SUVs. Well, the only Denalis they have are leftover 800 SUVs. In fact they don't think they have ANYTHING with the new 6.2 on their lot.

 

Also, its interesting the new 6.2 isn't flex fuel.

So im officially DONE taking this truck up. It clearly wants to be a pavement princess so that's what it gets to be. And I wasn't even being dumb this time just casually driving and my brand new moog ball joint snapped in half. This whole weekend has been a mess so far.
