Putting the new Autoride shocks on the back, all I need is the bottom bolt on each side back in.

Problem? My jack is a low profile speed jack. That has one inch too short of travel, so I vant fit the shock in.....and Im the only one home. Probably have to wait until midnight and my wife gets home from work. And I have to be up at 6.

Yaaaaaaayy.... :(

Found some wood. Got it high enough. Got them on, now trying to find the impossible to see stabilitrac connector.

I got the dash cover today. Its thin enough it wont stand out, but the texture is wrong. Havent test fit yet.

Shocks on and everything looks right. The old shocks were on their way out, rubber dust sock was fraying and I could compress it with my body weight.

Dash top Test fit didnt go well, the passenger side has wildly varrying gaps along trim edge. Flush on some parts, half a cm a few inches away. Also, You'd have to apply pressure to the entire thing while it was being glued.

Put it on craigslist it case they wont pay return shipping(return shipping is $80, I only paid $115!), still be a big step up for a really bad dash.

If that place Will pay return shipping they will get a glowing review for CS.

Got my transfer case replaced. It was a "reserviced" unit. The removal was a snap, but reinstall was kind of a pain. My problem right now is that the truck is stuck in 4 Low so let the troubleshooting begin.

Got the last things I need for the fronts today. Mounts(which do have a considerable rubber bushing after all, so glad I ordered them). And these

Lol, yeah. For precision tools I go elsewhere(wrenches are really hit or miss there). Bought the SAE wrench set when I got the firebird, one of the nicer chromed ones, and the fit on bolts is crap. I had a Metric set from them that is good though.

Their jacks are very good. I have had the small aluminum rapid/low profile racing jack for 10 years. Its rated for 1.5 tons, handles the tahoe pretty well but didnt go high enough.(14") This new one goes just shy of 20", rated 3 tons.

Finished up repairing my drivers seat. Welded the frame in two places where it broke. Good as new! Also pulled the passenger seat and the center console in order to clean underneath real good.

Also chopped off the exhaust cause it was rotted through in some places and welds broke in others. I like the sound for right now until I need a state inspection then I'll do a 3" single in/ 3" single out and dump it over the rear axle for it to pass inspection. Not sure of which muffler to go with next, hmm...

Getting ready to delete the AFM in the 07 5.3. Have a lifter squealing, probably grinding the cam lobe. Trying to decide on which cam and tuner at this point.
