Parents had a wreck in trailblazer(someone in the other car pulled out across two lanes in front of them, and admitted fault).

Airbags did NOT deploy. They were going about 40 MPH at impact. Thinking the air bags should have gone off. They side the back corner of a g37 coupe and it's airbags did. Think at least the passenger should have gone off on TB? Parts of the impact was almost to the center of the bumper.

Not surprised. Think a lot of them are defective. After I parted out our total POS '00 Jimmy, I had some buddies over and tried to light the thing off with a length of wire, and a battery. It was a total dud. Glad we didn't find that out behind the wheel!

Neighbor gets at least one GM product a year for the demo derby here. She's had 1 or 2 fail to light off too.

Are your parent's ok?

So many idiots out on the road today, it's just amazing ... :nonod:

Think they are ok(said they are but since it can take time...), but my mom has serious medical issues and said her back felt odd during the rebound.

To me that damage looks minimal for that speed.

Got smog check notifications today for 2 registrations due November 2nd. My truck is due November 30 so i am hoping it comes soon. It is every 2 years. It will give me a chance to get it done and hopefully get my broken manifold bolts pulled and long tubes installed before the SEMA Show

Ahh yeah now I remember. Been 15 years since I set foot in there.

I'm guessing the guy floored it and his G37 just didn't make it away.

And his rear side air bags did go off. (hit the back/back corner, think opposite of the TB). His back bumper fell off.

Think I'll get them a dashcam for Christmas!

Lost 3 hours last night pulling the front end off my truck to change out a headlight!!!!!!! I think that who ever came up with this brain child should be required to go and change out at least one in every state on their own dime. Also I would make sure and have them do it in the grass somewhere at night!!!!! Can you tell that I am al little up set about it all? I went ahead and bought all the bulbs and changed them all out so I should be good for another 4 years and 80,000 miles. The good news is it only took about 1 hour to put it all back together. :jester:

Hahaha. They become simple to change after a while. Easiest way depending on side is remove airbox or battery.

I don't bother with them most of the time. Use a screw driver or long pliers to get the socket out of the cranny. And there is minimal slack on those wires.

Did find out the wiring harness is clipped to the back of the headlight when replacing do to deer damage. I pulled that clip off after replace whole headlight giving more slack to the bulb socket.
