Went to the dump got rid of a bunch of scrap metal. Also went to the lumber yard and got some lumber to build a raised garden for the wife.

It's the same reason the company decals on the side window are covered over....anonymity. Pretty simple. And no... thousands of people don't see it daily... I don't live in never ending city lol.

Cleaned the calipers and started painting them with BBQ paint

Those look like the same calipers on my Z28. In fact I think they are.

In all seriousness, I don't have many tools in my toolbox. Odds are if something breaks on the road, I won't have that tool with me anyways. I just keep the basics. Small socket set, screwdrivers, crescent wrench or 2, random pliers, 4-way lug wrench and extra oil.

You forgot the duct tape

I quit my job yesterday, got the new Weather Tech floor liners and put them in today (front and rear for quad cap) Not too sure about the Weather Tech liners.. they look nice but they slide easily and won't stay in place. I guess I just can't win when it comes to decent floor mats. The Husky liners I've had in the past would warp and not stay flush. :nopity:

Why i got a new harness

You must have have had a non-functioning button or two, eh?

That wheel looks like the one I got from AutoWoods; mine's in Cherry.

It all worked. I repinned it when i messed it up the first time. Pulling it back out destroyed it. And mine is from Autowoods

Well Denali bezel is coming. My checking acct hates me. I need to delete all commerce apps from my phone. Still need the front air dam and rear shackles, as well as rotors to finish my brakes. Today is a nice break. I havent even opened the garage and dont even want to see my truck. It will be a relaxing day if i can stay out of the garage. I got my swamp cooler functional in the garage so the 108° was kind of tolerable in it.

Those things worked great out in Phoenix. MMI had them in their shop classes, and pretty much every garage in the valley had them too. Way cheaper than running A/C 24/7, that's for sure.

Was a novel concept for this East Coast guy - those don't work very well when the dew point is approaching 90° ...

Always wanted to ride dunes ever since I opened my first Dirtwheels magazine over 30 years ago. Still haven't done it! Closest I've got is local sand pits many years ago. Had some crazy steep hills, some with inverted cliffs at the top - used to love climbing those. Not sure if I could still do it now. Had no fear in those days - we used to have a functioning healthcare system, lol.
