Those lower valances are pretty tuff. I have pushed mine through many snow banks and have yet to have it break.

Good to hear that maybe I didn't waste my money.

Just finished a full refurbish on a 2004 Silverado cluster in OEM LEDs for a Custom shop in St Steven NB. It was the first time the secretary did an e-transfer, so I walked her through it. Piece of pie. She was just happy to learn about this new method of payment.

I kept scraping mine on everything and breaking it constantly. I took it off and threw it in the trash. I think the truck looks better without it anyway. Gained some needed ground clearance, at least.

since I have the week off the truck is gettimg some much needed attention. Today I cleaned the interior and then braved the 38 degree temps and washed it. Did foam cannon, two bucket wash and rinse. Tomorrow clay bar, polish, and wax.

Wish GM had more pride with there logo. Anyway I replaced the tailgate bowtie by a gun metal coloured decal today, wasn't going to pay $115 plus tax for a GM one that was going to obliterate itself in 3 years. Paid $3 for the decal and I think it looks 3 times better than a blistered one.

Now THAT looks good, Terrance. I like that look vs the full colored bowties. I wish I could just remove the damaged one on my tailgate, but there is defenitly some thinned out paint (or lack of) under mine so I'd have to replace it. I don't like advertising for a dealer or manufacturer if I am not getting paid to do so. Ah well, maybe another reason to let my truck get repossessed, eh? 3 biggest reasons now although getting rid of a truck for reason 2 and 3 seems a bit silly:

1. The shitty DPF

2. The shitty bowtie that GM didn't care much about quality wise from 2008-2013 models. (same thing goes for the Ford ovals, I've seen a lot of em cracked or faded!)

3. Climate control buttons where the paint wears off waaaaaaaaay to easily. (they didn't have longevity in mind here, did they. Major issue on all GMT-900s)

I do like the bowties on the 2014+ models though.

2014, solid plastic (just don't get wax paste on there, with that textured surface, uggh!)

When I had my 02 I sanded and painted the rear half. Looked amazing but was a lot of work, never did the front lol

I stopped at the front of the cab. I figured it'd be a lot easier to do the very front with the suspension removed.

I opted to not order a new fuel pump, and that was a mistake. The original is rusty on the outside. I guess I'll be lifting the bed again in a while.

Put LEDs in my 2017 Chevy Silverado and my backup camera is blurry now. Removed then to see if that was the problem so I have been trying to figure out what is wrong today. Any help???
