Fueled it up on the way home from work early Saturday morning then my friend and I loaded up 2 of my desks so he and his wife could have actual desks. Drove them down to his house and unloaded them. Went to other friends house and attempted to help him work on his foxbody. Finally got around to taking the front tie down things out of the bed rail pockets and moved the toolbox up flush against the front of the bed. Gained 4-6 inches of bed length back.

This morning I loaded 2 recliners into the back of the truck to bring to the same friend that I gave the desks to yesterday. Now working on other friends foxbody again.

Maybe I should keep them back there...

Racing seat got put in the drivers side yesterday. Today my shotgun seat got put in. Good thing since I didn't want to sit on a crate for the rocky mountain race week we'll be going out to. Other stuff got done yesterday and will get done today.

This is why I say GM should just build gliders from here on out.

Let US, the consumer, buy a driveline from someone who remembers how they're SUPPOSED to be built, and doesn't cut corners.

I take it you've been using the same brand of oil? One day my ex wife's Subaru just started using oil for no reason. It's weird. It went down the road not that long after that.

I either use Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Full Synthetic, the natural gas stuff that used to come in a silver bottle (it's now in a yellow bottle with silver cap, weird). I have switched back and forth between the two since the beginning and now all of a sudden in the last 2 oil changes I've been using more oil. Time to trade in, right? Lol

Haha! Maybe. You could try going with one or the other for a while and see what that does? I've heard that sometimes switching between oils can cause consumption, but idk why it would start after all this time? I know that my truck didn't seem to like the Pennzoil and it was using oil when I ran it so I switched to Mobil 1, and it hasn't used any oil since. The Cruze runs the Pennzoil just fine though. I ran the same Pennzoil as you as well.

I normally buy what's on sale at the time, I was heavily favoring Mobil 1 EP in the beginning with no issues. Maybe I'll use that on my next oil change and keep using it and keep track. Actually I do have a log book I keep, I'll have to look and see what I used when I did it at the beginning of the year.

On a side note I need to take my truck to get the wheels rebalanced this week. Next tires I'm gonna get the balancing beads like Danny has

I think I'll try the beads too next time I get tires.

Electronic balancer.

Made in china. I'm on #2 in 12 years, due to board failures. This current one is sold by Greg Smith Equipment. They actually stock parts for them, so a board failure won't be an issue next time.

Much better than paying $8,000 for a name brand one, that's for sure ... and no more waiting for strangers to strip my hub studs and lug nuts out, or over torque them ... or forget to tighten them altogether, all while overcharging me ... :D

I drove 5 hours today with them, still no complaints. We were both happy with how the pickup is riding. Not happy with the stupid 4x4 error though.

It's odd that it's giving you so many problems.

Went out to clean up from the additional 3" we got last night, in addition to the foot we got Thursday. Another foot coming tomorrow, so decided to shovel the barn roof. Over 1k sq.ft. total. Thankfully the snow was powder, but it's still a ball-busting job. Took a little over an hour to get that done.

After I got off the roof, I jump in the '94 S10 plow truck, push in the clutch, turn the key - nothing. WTF. Try again ... still nothing ... except now I feel pressure bleeding off the clutch. F*@$!!! 2 days ago the thing started and ran perfect! WTF!!! Of course the truck is parked right next to a wooden stake I spray painted fluorescent orange to locate where the driveway ends, so I don't tear up the grass with the plow - it's right in the friggin way. Had to shovel a foot of snow out from around it, then drag my jack through all the snow I just shoveled off the GD roof. Rolled out my grease carpet and got to work. Whacked starter with a pipe and hammer a few times, then turned engine over using the alternator nut - fired right up. One problem down. Starter probably on it's way out from repeated abuse cranking in gear, thanks to the constant clutch problems. Checked the compression fitting on the clutch line - was leaking. I cranked down on it so tight I thought I'd bust it, but it worked. Took twice as long this time to get pedal. I jammed it in gear and just about drove right across the street into the woods. Took a good half hour of pumping to finally be able to drive the POS.

GRRR!!!! Always friggin something around here!! :banghead::banghead::banghead::shakehead:

Time to get rid of the PoS S-10.

Waiting for the next free plow truck. They don't show up very often.

Thing only has barely over 100k miles on it. Thought I'd get at least ONE season out of the damn thing.

I've owned several s10's from pickups to Blazers - you'd think I'd have learned by now ...
