Debadged my truck yesterday. Looks great. Used fishing line and an eraser wheel to get the letters off. Truck looks tons better!

I just repaired a 2006 Ford Freestyle FOB and sold and programmed him a new one for his wife's set of keys.

LOL and ruin all that hard work?

Turns out I put the exhaust clamps on in the entirely wrong spot when I initially installed my Borla GM system. Took the entire system out, put it back, tweaking some hangers along the way, ensuring the tips were clear of the box protector (I AM SICK of replacing that damn thing due to my incompetence!), and getting the clamps secured in the proper site. Now the system is MUCH more stable, feels solid like the factory system, and stays put! Initial readings indicate my fuel economy is rebounding as well, so perhaps I identified the source of my mysterious fuel economy deficit since April (which is when I initially installed the system).

Caught a big rock in the bumper cap somewhere along the state highways I've been cruising. Popped it off and took it into the dealer to patch and cover the ding the bodyshop missed in late June. We'll get a nice comparison of dealer vs. private bodyshop. Hope to have it back tomorrow, the open road is calling my name!

We have been full time residents now since June 15th at 9200 ft. in Colorado.

I have been working on getting the garage organized, built a bench, put up cabinets, mounted the air hose reel, etc.

Put together a nice stereo and speakers. At our location I get 5 channels, 2 I would listen to.

Looks really nice! I wish CO wasn't so expensive to live there, I always liked the state and the environment. Work would require me to live close to the city, and potentially to an airport, so living far out is not possible.

I like living here in Colorado, however- if you like going to the mountains, best do it monday-thursday. The weekends are a disaster trying to get up to and out of the mountains.

Traded it in on a 2017 ram 2500 crewcab with the 6.4. Got a deal I couldn't say no too.

Congrats! :thumbs::cheers:

I think you'll be much happier. I know my brother, dad, & one of my best friends are - all 3 owned Chevy trucks prior.

My brother had a couple issues with his at around 11k miles, but FCA took care of it all under warranty, quickly, with no BS, unlike mine and my dad's GM truck experiences - they didn't try to weasel out of paying up for their engineering screwups. I guess problems with new vehicles are just par for the course in the 21st Century. They're alot easier to deal with when the company doesn't try to lie and cheat it's way out of owning up to them.
