It’s all about the dollar bill, but that’s freakin’ sad for the hard worker out here looking to get a good vehicle, never will get all the electrical gremlins out of the system. That’s why I buy and keep all my vehicles, usually end up donating them to charity, and they all ran great. I still have a 30 yr old original owner car sitting in the garage. If a deal is too good to be true, leave it alone, you’ll regret it.

Modern cars end up with electrical gremlins WITHOUT ever touching salt water! Can't even imagine the horror- show of a salt-water-flooded vehicle. Every other day would be some new failure ...

 

NO THANKS!! Rather do a complete wiring harness on a 35 year old vehicle.

Ordered a new beltman leather belt since I've been too fat for the last year or so to wear the one I bought in early 2009. If it wasn't for me being fat I'd still use that one, shows only minor wear. It'll be nice to get back to a leather belt again. Apparently I won a drawing for a holster and of course that company doesn't make it for the gun I want it for, go figure. Didn't think I'd win so I entered for S&Gs. Already got 2 of their kydex ones for my g20 and I only have them for when I go fishing/kyaking/camping or all the above so I don't ruin my leather holsters or my other guns. Don't really care about my g20. 1st world problems.

It is an SS with the 2.4 and an auto trans. Picked it up for $1300. New to replace the fuel filler hose and battery. Wasn't a bad deal. I'll probably drive it for a couple months and resell it for more

I said that 89 BMW M3 with new paint and so so interior wasn't worth 10k in 2006.......what a difference a decade makes. That car would be worth 50k+ today.

But the camaro didn't run.

 

But I got a new shitbox. I need to figure out why the god damned alarm goes off every time I open the door. And the door lock buttons inside don't work. Looks good from far but it is far from good. Pulls decent mileage. Will be going to the dealer Monday to figure that out.

Sounds like it might be the lock actuator. 2nd mazda6 had a faulty design, and alarm would go off several times a day because the switch was defective. Might check to see if it's a known issue on cobalts. Or someone else has experience.
