Ahh, gotcha.

 

When I was in my late teens, basic on a '85 Monte Carlo that I bought for $600 was $2,200 a year!! I had alot of tickets, plus I was under 25 years old - double whammy ...

Lol, yeah in 2004 I was looking at a used 04 GTO. Insurance was 450 a month(loan payments were going to be $420, lol), because I was in my late teens. So I didnt but that car

 

My wife is saying "I don't care" but then she started looking online for other 6th gen convertibles. (So Im not buying her carelessness, she even joked we could surprise the boys by picking them up in one tomorrow).

Finally pulled the trigger on one.

I finally pulled the trigger on a tool that I've been dreaming about for 30+ years. I got an email the other day from Greg Smith Equipment about a Flash Sale on a certain model 2-post lift. Well, that just happened to be exactly what I was looking for, only with 1k lbs. MORE capacity! Couldn't wait for my addition to be finished - went and grabbed it yesterday, since the sale ends today. 10k lb. capacity - that'll handle a dually diesel with a load of pea gravel in the bed! More than enough for me.  I saved $450 over waiting until the addition is finished. Was a no-brainer. Sucks she's gotta live outside for a bit though - everything is packed to capacity since I tore the old addition down.

After this 140 mile round trip, the monitors STILL haven't run in the Silverado ...

One of my friends had a garage built  on his 10 + acres and had 2 lifts installed inside. I am going up to see him so I can check out his garage soon from his pics it looks pretty sweet. Now he can use the lifts for his 69 Camaro and Chevelle.
