What dealer? I bought from and use Dave Sinclair GMC. I have yet to get a quote from them but will shortly when I take my truck in for maintenance.

I went to Weber Chevrolet in Columbia IL, they gave me a hell of a deal back when 2016's had the huge rebates. Maybe they just gave me another good deal on installing the exhaust because I spent a shitload of money there. I'll still check around for ya.

Nice man! I'm assuming you have 20'' wheels? Apparently stock 18's won't work with it.

I have a 5.3L , but have no idea what gear combo. It's a stock 2016 1500 Z71 LTZ 5.3L. I really wish I could get $1700 or even $2000 out the door. I live around St Louis, MO and apparently all the shops love to get paid.

gear ratio is on the RPO codes in your glove box. 3.42 or 3.23 most likely

Anyone do the Rough Country 7" lift? These any good? Looking for a 6-7" lift.

The general consensus is that rough country is a cheap a$$ way to lift your truck and a lot of dudes have have a lot of issues with the 7" kit. I personally run BDS. A lot of other ppl run BDS and zone too and everyone seems more than happy, I know I am

I am looking to get a BDS suspension lift too. Not sure if I want a 4 or 6. Can you do me a favor and when you get can you tell me how tall does your truck end up standing? I am trying to figure out the over all height to make sure it fits in my garage. From what I can gather it should end up being 80 to 81 inches tall.

Also did you have to have some trimming done to fit the 35s?

Ill measure it out for ya.... I'm giddy cause i got a call that my lift and tires are already here.... Should have the truck back Tuesday by noon.

From what i have read and asked 35s will rub just slightly and i will trim if i have to but ill update you on what the stock wheels do..only got spacers for the rear to even out look because i habe OCD and the difference will drive me insane.

Nice thank you. Did you do a coil over or went with the non coil over kit?

I assume if you are keeping stock wheels you are running 20s? I have 18 inch rims and from what I could read and been told I'll have to replace them or run spacers but I think will just make my wheels stick out too much.

Also I want pics from the side! Hope you love the setup when it comes.

Couldn't justify $1500 for coilovers that i have no use for other then looks.

Yes i do have the 20s and i only like for it to stick out a little bit not like half the tire.

Doesn't matter which one that you use e.g. 4 or 6" BDS kit, both will fit in your garage. I have the 6" with 35" tires and I fit in mine, it is very close though. What doesn't fit is the radio antenna, the stock one is to stiff and drags the garage door to a point where it seems to want to break. What I did is just remove the antenna since I do not ever listen to the FM radio, but if that's a problem for you then you'll want to use a short antenna.

I recently purchased a 16 high country 1500. I couldn't decide what to do to get it just right. I spent countless hours on this forum. It helped me very much looking at what other guys did with their trucks to get mine right. Thanks very much to so many people that have posted pics and comments. Without it, I would have never got it like I wanted it. So, I need to post so maybe I might help the next guy. 2016 Chevy high country 1500 4wd. 4 1/2 inch zone lift, 295 65 20 toyo m/t with factory rims. No scrub.. Trimmed the front air dam a little because it was so close but it probably wasn't necessary.

So this is exactly what I'm looking for; and I also want to keep my factory wheels 20 inch LTZ wheels.

I like how your track width doesn't seem to stick out real bad. But I'm confused, I thought these lifts made the track width stick out?

Also with this lift do you have to use any wheel spacers to keep the factory wheels?

How does it ride compared to stock?

I already feel my truck rides a little stiff with the stock suspension, will this lift make it more stuff, softer, or the same?

Does this lift provide good CV and other suspension angles?

Does it have more, less, or same amount of suspension travel?

Thanks, I know that's a lot of questions, I'm just a little overwhelmed with all the lift choices, and I want to be happy with it when it's done, and from your pictures I really love how yours turned out. Thanks.
