Had some 295/60r20 Toyo MT put on my truck this weekend. Zip tied the liner back and no rubbing besides on the sway bar at full lock. I only have a 2.5" Traxda leveling kit on the front.

Looks nice.... can i see a pick from the front or back

So I am contemplating getting some 17x8.5 0 offset Method NVs wrapped in either 285/70r17 BFG KO2 or 295/70r17 Nitto Terra Grap G2s.

 

I am aware that the 295s might rub but I'm confused on where. Sway bar, liner or metal?

any input would be appreciated!

 

Will be running a 2.5" RC level as well.

Toyo says that's a 34.2x11.8 tire. Impressive that you fit that on stockers with a 2.5. I'm real interested in more pictures of the clearances in all the left and right lock position. Also, the actual height and width with them mounted and the truck weight on them.

Same here....

 

I have 305 55 20s and they rub.... I can imagine 295/60s.....

 

Mine is a 33x12.50x20

Well they "fit" with a little help. I had to zip tie the liner back, but the tire gets very close to the plastic piece on the bottom of the fender beside the door. I'll get some pictures of the clearance with the liner pulled back.

Ive got a 2015 GMC sierra All terrain and am running 275/65R20 Nitto Trails with a 2.5"RC level. I rub the fender liner when turning probably 80% of the time. Also rub the sway bar at full lock every time.

I also put 295/60R20 Nitto Trails before this set. The 295 rubs like hell. Rubs on sway bar significantly, rubs on liner, rubs on metal behind liner. For those who say they do not rub, Y'all must be crazy. Truck also looked too small for the tires that big with only a level.

My buddy has a 3.5" RC lift and he is running the 295/60R20 Nitto trails. HE even rubs too, including sway bar and fender liner.

Depends on the tire. Mine are Toyo AT2's which run 34.1x11.8. I think the Nitto 295/60-20 runs a bit bigger.

2016 slt z71 2.5 rc level. I'm running 275/65/20 ko2. The only rubbing I had was full lock to the right on the liner which I zip tied. Now I have zero issues.

Here's a picture with the wheel being held at full lock. The tire is probably within an 1/8" of the liner but it isn't touching. I'm sure if I flexed the suspension some it would rub.

That's strange that the same size rubbed so bad on your truck. Where did it rub on metal at? I wouldn't recommend the 295/60r20 for somebody that just wants to throw on a big tire and not touch anything. A 295/55r20 would be better for that. I just wanted a little more meat.

Mine are Not to Terra G2s in LT275/65R20 and mine rubbed before a zip tie on each side, but not anymore.
