Okay so I want to throw a level kit on as soon as my truck is delivered. I found a 2" Rough Country kit and the reviews look amazing. Any objections to this? I should need an alignment I'm sure?!

I got one and alot of other on here do as well. I have had no issue, and yes an alignment is necessary to keep everything straight and tire wearing correctly.

Any pics down the side?? The other pics make it look like they are sucked in a little when they should be flush or a little outside the finder. Thanks

For anyone that's interested I installed Fox 2.0 Coilovers up front at the factory set position (about 20 threads up from the bottom/ see photo)

With factory steel suspension and LT285/70R17 BFGoodrich KO2s tires (at 38PSI), the distance between ground and fender is approximately 39.75"(after driving about 500 miles).

Here's a couple photos showing the angles:

My next step is to install the Cognito UCAs sometime in the next couple of weeks once they come in.

2016 Silverado LTZ Z71.

OEM GM 20x9 +24 offset wheels. Clear coated PVD Black Chrome.

Nitto Terra Grappler G2 285/55-20.

Bilstein 5100 Ride Height Adjustable shocks on highest setting. No rubbing. No trimming.

With the 5100s on the highest setting and 20" wheels, how harsh is the ride?

Not harsh at all but definitely firmer than the stock Rancho's. No more "floaty" feel.

That's what a level kit costs, $50?! Wow... Cheap.

The lift will not affect your speedo. If you put on larger diameter tires as a result of the lift, then your speedo will be affected.

That's what I thought. I had to do just that with my Jeep when I had it but not because of the lift.

Last night I installed the Rough Country 2.5" lift on the front only and today put the MM 20x9 -12 with 305/50/20 Zeon LTZ on and could not be happier the the look or the ride

I was wondering if you can install the ProComp kit with just the top spacer? And if so around how much lift that would provide?
