Couple recent pictures of mine, pulled the lower valence/air dam off.. not so sure I like it. Looks like something's "missing" to me on the front end now. I think I'm going to trim the air dam down and re-install it.

So i put my RC 2" level kit and Toyo 295/55/20's on this weekend. Install was simple, just like on my 2011. It definitely helps to have an extra set of hands when wedging that spacer in there. 295/

Mine is finally done! After months of research I went with the RC 2.5" level kit front only, stock rear block. 20"x9" Fuel Nutz w/ +1 offset, 33x12.50x20 Toyo M/T tires. No rubbing, No trimming, yet a

Hi I am new here I just bought a 2015 cc sle ..the shops around me are saying not to use the 2.5 level kits and get blisten shocks or pro comp replacements has anyone had trouble with rc2.5 ...I really like they they look any help would be appreciated .thanks

I have had my RC 2.5" level on now for 8,000 miles and have had no issues. I love the way my truck sits. And it was extremely easy to install.

I haven't. Nor have I heard of anyone needing to get that done. Only time that I have heard of Stabilitrak becoming funny is with the Zone 6.5" lift.

I have that lift. Can you elaborate on what issues were caused?

I think if you didnt have the Flaps it would look better but adding the trim will balance it back out.

Not everyone has experienced them. I just know sometimes stabilitrac will act up when turning sometimes. But it's not often that it will occur. Just at times.

Thanks for the link. I've had my lift on for 20k miles and have never seen my stabili-track come on, around turns or otherwise. Just lucky I guess.

 

Then I wouldn't read that link! It may start happening now that you know about it. If it does, then I didn't tell you about it lol

Lol. I've had my tires rotated a couple times and it hasn't done it so hopefully it won't start from just reading a thread.

 

Sometimes tho, when I'm turning really sharp it kinda acts like the locking rear diff is activated, but not always. There's never been any blinking light on my dash indicating stabilitrack or traction control being activated tho. I just assumed it was because my 35" tires were so big. That part doesn't bother me.

Yeah I like the look better without flaps, but our road conditions and weather make them a must have. Without them you'll chip the paint in no time and good luck trying to keep your truck clean. I also wanted to pull the step bars off but am thinking that'll draw even more attention to the flaps.

I have an AT with my Air dam taken off, factory Molded flaps, and my step bars taken off. I've got a pic in the 2014 Pics thread to give you an idea. Its also my Avatar pic

I've spent the last month looking at this forum and everything else online so I could to try to get the best information on what to do to my 2014 Silverado to level it. After all the research I went with the Bilstein adjustables and Hankook Dynapro 275/70/18. This is my first post so I'll do my best on the before and after pics. The ride is great and better than factory. It's winter and truck is dirty but I couldn't be happier with this set up.

      Hi, New here.  2026 Denali HD.  Just purchased 7/2/26. I am having the same issue.  I just traded in my 2024 AT4, and the truck connected to bluetooth and Android Auto Immediately!  Now, with the new HD, it connects when it wants to, which is usually not at all.  I have to use the usb-c cable to get it to connect.  Bluetooth won't even connect without the AA. Now after saying all that, I'll take a 20 min drive with the phone plugged in.  Stop at a store, restaurant, etc....  Get back in my truck and DO NOT plug the phone in.  The truck then decides at this point, lets connect BT & AA and work perfectly, ie how it should.   I have deleted (forget phone) the phone multiple times.  I guess I'll just get used to plugging it in every time. even though I don't think its good for the phone battery to have it on charge after it hits 100%. I have searched all over.  No one else seemed to be having this issue, until I read this thread today.   thanks for reading.

      I have an issue with my ignition hanging and I have to tilt the steering wheel to get in the off position. I have used a great key lock spray and it doesn't help resolve the issue. Is this an ignition assembly issue or something else. If anyone has a past experience with this please advise.   Thanks  Heath

      This is a terrible GM warranty experience, two months waiting for a covered engine swap with no loaner or timeline is not allowed under GM’s courtesy transport policy.Escalate straight past regular support to a GM executive case manager, document every closed service ticket and dealer repair paperwork. File a complaint with NHTSA to force faster action, and ask for daily rental reimbursement while your truck is down. If it’s been out of service over 30 days, your state lemon law may let you pursue a full vehicle buyback.

      198°F isn't unusually hot for an 8L90, so I don't think temperature alone caused the issue. Since everything returned to normal after the truck sat for several days, I'd be looking at an intermittent electronic or hydraulic control problem before assuming the transmission itself has failed. The first thing I'd do is scan the Transmission Control Module (TCM), not just the ECM. GM transmissions can store manufacturer-specific or history codes that won't trigger a check engine light. I'd check: TCM history and pending DTCs Commanded vs. actual gear Line pressure Shift solenoid status Torque converter clutch (TCC) slip Transmission fluid temperature If it happens again, try to capture the data before cycling the ignition, since some intermittent faults disappear after a restart. A professional scan tool that supports full GM transmission diagnostics makes this much easier. For example, the Foxwell NT809BT can access the TCM, read manufacturer-specific transmission codes, and display live transmission data that's not available on a basic OBD-II reader: https://www.foxwelldiag.com/products/foxwell-nt809bt Hopefully it's just an intermittent control issue, but I'd definitely pull the TCM data before replacing any parts.
