Do you have a +20 offset or +14. Your signature seems to conflict with this post. Thanks!!

I like some rake, has anyone installed the 2.5" rough country level kit but left out the .5" spacer?

So 2" bracket thingy up front and 2" block out back.

Hey guys some advice please. I did a rc 2.5 level kit last week.

I noticed when I'm not moving but either in drive or reverse and turning the steering wheel either left or right there is a clicking I'm hearing. Not super loud but I also feel it through the steering wheel. Today I was in a alley and when turning steering wheel all the way , I could hear the front suspension. I don't think it's any rubbing issues since I have the stock 20's. Any thoughts before I take it back to the truck shop ? Just looking to see if anyone else had this.

Thanks guys

I been researching this same thing all week.... since I had a 2in level installed a year ago, but having the bilstein adjustable installed tomorrow.

The consensus it, I should remove the level and fully extend the shock to 1.8in. I know this will be enough lift for me ( that was never my concern, since I only run 275/60/20) MY concern was always the ride quality. Some say the bilstein at full adjustment will ride a little harsher. But leaving in the 2in spacer ( and the shocks not adjusted any) wouldn't be any better since the spacer makes everything harsh.

Thanks for the response - If you do experiement with the level in and no adjustments on the shock, let us know. I would like to see if it stiffer on not, not sure if it would. My front end does bounce quite a bit and knocks a bit on rough spots and it is definatly from the shocks with the added stress of a level but im sure bilsteins would help, just not sure how much.

I wanted to thank everyone for all of the posts. With your help I decided on the RC 2.5 and Cooper AT3 275/65/20. Made a huge difference in the way the truck looks. Sucks to buy a new truck and have to spend money to make it look like a truck. Thanks again for the feedback and a great place to do research.

Each cab/box configuration will be different... I have a 2015 Sierra all-terrain crew cab short box, initially just installed the 2.5 RC kit up front and had 0.25" of rake. It wasn't enough for me so I swapped the stock 1.25" blocks for the RC 2" blocks and now have 1" of rake...

Depending on how much rake your after will decide on what configuration you'll end up. I wanted maximum height so i opted for the full 2.5" kit but to save a few bucks you could just do a 2" up front and leave the back stock.

Yes, this is exactly what I did for the same reason. Wanted some rake for towing/hauling.

Pics? And is the ride rougher?

Has anyone ever heard of the alignment shop needing to re-calibrate the computer for the stabilatrak after an alignment is done for a 2.5" leveling kit?

I haven't. Nor have I heard of anyone needing to get that done. Only time that I have heard of Stabilitrak becoming funny is with the Zone 6.5" lift.

The ride is completely unchanged in my opinion. Nothing to be worried about whatsoever.

I don't have any great pics, really. This is the best I've got for you. Stock tires
