Notice any hissing of the can? I just installed mine and wondering if its normal.

No, no hissing from mine and I didn't even install the hose clamps. I applied high temp white grease to the fittings since I've had problems in the past with removing the hoses from plastic nipples and I read one member here broke off his and had to buy a new intake manifold. The hose was very tight on the can without the clamps.

Mine is now installed. I like the quality of the Elite setup.

One thing I noticed is that the hose seems to kind of oval a little bit in certain spots. I think this is normal, I've read about it before. Is this ok?

I also got the Elite can last week and like it a lot. My hose is the same way but it must be flowing Ok because I already have a good puddle of oil in the can after about 200 miles. I had a layer at just 50 miles. I kick myself for waiting till 27,000 miles to do this.

When I originally installed my Elite can, above the brake booster, I left the hoses long incase I wanted to move the location and I did notice the hoses oval a little bit. Once I was set on that location I trimmed the hoses to not have a lot of extra and they no longer oval on me. I have not heard of anyone having issues with the hoses collapsing so it's probably fine. Makes me wonder though if after a few years we should be replacing the hoses?

That's a good poiint. Should have ponied up the cash for the stainless steel lines lol, I think that was an option anyway.

One other observation, I mounted mine to the washer resivor area and have noticed due to the angle of the frame, the can is tilted a little bit. I do not think this will cause any issues, but can anyone confirm?

I put mine by the washer fluid tank and when I noticed the oval hoses I ran it and checked for anything collapsing. I don't think that's a problem. Not enough vacuum and it would not collapse unless the upstream end was clogged. I think it was just a matter of the hose being very tightly wound for shipping and it seems very soft rubber. I don't think it's an issue as long as it's filling up with oil, it's working.

There isn't much restriction on the hose to cause a real vacuum on the hose...shouldn't have a collapsing issue. I ran standard Summit Racing braided hose on my conceptual poly without any issue.

I would think if the hose is soft enough to pinch shut easy, you might have a problem.

In the process of going from 2014 5.3 to a 2015 6.2 I want to swap my elite engineering can over. After conflicting reports, will the bracket swap over to the 6.2?

This is my homemade can and mount on to the boster on my 6.2 hope this helps

Mines catching about the same amount of oil. Should we be adding oil to our engines once we see this in the can?

Only if the dipstick shows a loss...most of that is blowby gasses that have condensed. I have not seen a loss in oil level in an oil change.

Installed my RX can today. Sorry for the mess, been driving some dusty roads lately.

The wet drops on the intake cover are from some Seafoam spray that got away on me. I had a peak in the manifold and I could see an oil sheen so I thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot just to clean it up a bit.

Another pic.
