Think your good actually says outlet on the side and that hose goes toward valve cover.

Buy a new piece of hose at an auto parts store. Think i paid like 5ish bucks for 6 feet.

I buy in bulk normally. Wasn't ready for another order yet, so it is what it is - just used what I had laying around. Been fine for a year now, so not that concerned.

Yea I switched after I found out I did it wrong. It's not as pretty with them crossed like that and I might pull the zip ties off and redo them so it's better looking. It just went that way so I figured it was right. Good thing I asked lol

Anyone get a strong gas odor outside the vehicle after installing a catch can?

Post up pictures of your install.....should NEVER be gasoline odor if routed correctly.

I developed a foul smell and found a leak at one of the 90 degree screw in connectors. Pulled it out, redid the pipe tape and gone.

I just pulled the system off this weekend to verify that it's the can causing the issue. I saw somewhere about some early production trucks with leaking injectors, so I wanted to verify that wasn't the case. While it's off I'm going to re-seal all the fittings. I've also asked Elite Engineering for suggestions. Some reports were of cheap hoses allowing fumes to seep through. I just used what Elite sent with the system.

Mine never really smelled of fuel, it was a very foul oil smell. I can smell it when emptying the can so I knew for sure what it was. I did replace there hoses as mine were collapsing more than I was comfortable with. I went to autozone and just got transmission hose.

Did my first oil change at about 800 miles using Mobile 1 EP. The following Thursday I installed my catch can with about 950 miles. It's a week later with about 1200 miles and the contents had a fuel smell, but no smell outside of the emptied contents.

Just a little tease, I am going to be making some new videos with Elite Engineering products over the course of the next few weeks.

Stay tuned. :driving:
