G Mcpherson Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 The swagelok fittings are a real nice install. SS Tubing adds a nice finish. Need to add a SS plug.
Badass69 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 That plug is stainless lol. I am going to paint it black when I feel like it one of these days. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk

amfr Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 1k miles on my truck since catch can install. 1.5 ounces of pure oil. Good Florida weather. So I figure I have around 6 oz of oil from the first 5k miles sent from Florida beech
knkguillot Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 The plug and adapter I ordered for my airraid intake tube work great. Here are the links to both of them for those who want to install the Elite clean side seperator and have a clean install with an airraid intake tube. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AB5W3VS/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_k58kxb11WHBBX https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0079JXXV8/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_558kxbQ01KZNK Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 4

TxTruckMan Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Heads up - GM is voiding engine failure warranties due to catch cans. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=451361
Badass69 Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 (edited) Heads up - GM is voiding engine failure warranties due to catch cans. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=451361 Show me any aftermarket part some noodle head at a dealer or from TAC won't use to push for voiding a warranty. Warranty is such a joke.. and stuff for even these trucks isn't crazy expensive... If you want to keep your "warranty" with no questions asked just stay stock lol. Elite Engineering Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Heads up - GM is voiding engine failure warranties due to catch cans. No they're not. This one customer is having an issue with one dealer (not sure who's Catch Can), but the Catch Can will NOT void your manufacturer's warranty. 2
jrob56 Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Heads up - GM is voiding engine failure warranties due to catch cans. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=451361 So cliff notes version for everyone, guy had a CAI and Catch Can on his 2015 Camaro. Got a low oil pressure light on start up and turned it off. Towed to dealer and it was most likely driven had one more mile on it than when dropped off. Now making engine noise. GM blocked warranty with catch can as the reason, stating it starved engine of oil under certain circumstances. They delivered to his house in pieces. A petition below to let GM know how BS this, I already signed. https://www.change.org/p/alicia-boler-davis-help-get-gm-to-honor-their-warranty

No. This is one customer having and issue with Chevrolet, not just the dealer. This is not a dealer call.
HondaHawkGT Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Sounds like a load of shit. GM themselves offer an air oil separator for the camaro. 1
