Mine turned to 11,000 as I pulled into work this morning. Sucks, I've only had it 3 months. [emoji23]

From the other night when I installed my VLEDs! There was a heavy mist/fog that made for some pretty cool picture opportunities!

I was thinking bout doing that set up as well with the light bars. How does it look with both light bars? Is it worth it ? Did u make a bracket for behind the grill ? And how did you rig it up in ur truck ?

That's a ton of miles for 3 months! Then again I hit 4k and I have had mine since September.

Agree, and high mileage vs. short term duration of ownership seems to be a trend here among many. I suppose many use their trucks for work including commuting which I can equally appreciate.

I've owned my K1500 since Dec 2013 and only have 7k miles on it. (11 months).

ahh i see you used some plasti-dip like me. RCX lift? I'm planning on getting that too

Yes sir, your truck looks good. Definitely throw a leveling kit on it. I used rough country's 2.5" kit but without the .5" strut spacer. I wanted to maintain some rake for hauling/towing

Live in North Dakota for work, from Arkansas. Bought my truck in Arkansas in September and had 1,200 miles on it before I left and made the 1,300 mile trip back to ND. Then went home for Thanksgiving. Plus I drive it at work. I figure it'll have 100,000 on it in 2-3 years and I'll trade it off. Not keeping another Silverado past 100k after keeping my 2008 to 132,000 and spending $$$ keeping it going. I'm hard on stuff, so I gotta have warranty lol.

Always trying to keep things updated. RECON tails, I don't think their pictures do them justice on the website so I am sharing my picture with you which gives better perspective with the whole truck in view. That is an Anzo 3rd brake light. No offense to Anzo but I will replace it when RECON releases their version so I match. The Anzo is also well made and had no problems installing either. Hope you all like them as much as I do.

I really wish RECON would've done this exact style for Sierras. I would've bought them right away. The ones now are just eh.

I can't wait for someone to try them on their Sierra. I didn't like the ones for the Silverado until I saw them in person on a truck at SEMA.

Did the Anzo light sit in the opening flush? Also did you have to cut the factory plug also?

The Anzo fit exactly like the OEM nice and flush. I cut the plug off the back of the factory light so I am able to plug right into the harness. The good news is GM left enough wire to be able to work with and if i need to go back I can do that also.
