You didn't waste anytime, did you? 285s on stockers on a leveled 2014+ are made for each other. I'm guessing even with the flaps you have good clearance all around the tires.

Are they KOs or KO2s?

I never even drove the truck stock. I had the dealer install the level and tires and an alignment before I took delivery. No rubbing anywhere even at full lock. Haven't had it off road yet but looks like plenty of clearance. The tires are KO's. I'm old school and like the look of the older BFG's better.

looks good - Westin running broads are they the 4" ? how do you like them ?

They are the 3" e-series. Got them on Amazon for $150.00. They look like pretty good quality and are solid but at that price if they rust I can always just replace them. I wish the plastic step part was a little longer as it seems like your foot wants to step on the painted metal part when getting in the truck.

Did the truck come with the grill and bumper painted or did you have it done?

Yep--it was already as you see it. It's the Work Truck trim level.

here we go

So far I had the GMC logo on the tailgate removed... thinking about removing the "Sierra" letters and leaving the AT logo in the bottom right. Also going to remove step bars.

I am stumped on either doing a level kit with 33 MT's with stock wheels or a 4.5" zone with 35's (this is what i really want to do) but not sure if the lift will fit in my garage. it's 80" or 81" high. think it would be close.

I'd be interested in your step bars if you're willing to sell them. I'm about an hour and a half west of Fort Worth but come that way semi-often.

Sure! PM me your email or phone number and I'll get in touch with ya after I take em off in a week or two.

Edit: I just looked it up, looks like they might have two different sizes for crew and dbl cabs..

2014 GMC 1500 Sierra SLE with 5.3 - 30K miles and I'm the second owner.

My first GMC ever.

I've only had her for about two weeks now. I plan on installing running boards - new wheels, tires and possible a bed cover.

Ill be using her as my DD as well a towing my 2004 Z06 or 85 928 to the race track.

One thing I will say is that I'm still getting used to the DI / Engine noises. Much louder motor than I'm used too.

Added mudflaps and a Line-x bed liner, I'm wanting some oem running boards next as well as BF Goodrich Radial Mud Terrains 285-70/18. 218 miles so far, did a Mobil1 oil change last night. Had the rear and back side glass limo tinted. Enjoying everything about this truck.

Really like the grille and bumpers color-matched on the '16 z71's -- look great!

I got the tires at our local tire supplier in New York. You'd have to ask a tire dealer to try to locate them now I guess. I prefer the older design myself.

I got the wheel "stripes" from this place. http://www.reflectiveconcepts.com/vehicle-graphics/chevrolet/silverado-2014-2015/z71-wheel-accent-decal-kit-2014-2015-silverado-z71/

If you can come up with a design you can have a sign company cut them out for you on their machine.
