for what I would like to call the final change for a long time, I just ordered the split rear exhaust. after exhaustive research (keep it stock, muffler swap, borla, corsa etc) i decided to pull the trigger and just buy the damn thing. although i do love the stock sound, i have never been a fan of the blah appearance out the back. if people are interested, i will post a sound bite, after i get it installed. that was the most frustrating thing, was finding a similar truck setup with a nice video. the only one i found was a 15 second at idle or if they had a 6.2, they had cams, headers etc, so it wasn't good for my purposes!!,

I have a 5.3 but I am going Borla as well. Ordering my exhaust in spring of next year. Let winter pass to keep it looking new for summer, and pay off Christmas bills!

sorry, i forgot i posted in two spots. my advice based on my setup is buy, buy, buy!! i will post a video next week for ya, when my wife is not around!! she already rolls her eyes at me!!

very sorry for anyone who wanted a delay. to be honest had a little bit of an issue and wanted it corrected. borla needed to resend me the left side, which was the opinion of the installer was causing an imbalance of how it was coming out the rear. i did the install and now it has a nice balance out the rear, but now i still need to shorten my passenger side by about one inch to have them perfectly balanced. i was so concerned with the symmetry that i didn't notice till it was too late. (sigh). other than a little bit of drama, it looks in my opinion way nicer and sounds fantastic. i was worried about not being loud enough, but it truly is sweet. the weather has sucked here as i am sure a lot of people have been experiencing and when i get a nice day, i will try and capture it.

also to note....gas mileage has gone down quite a bit and i can't figure out why???? lol!
