Creaking sound when cold

A lot of post about different sounds, etc. I have one a little different. Best way to describe it…. When the truck is cold (just started) and I take off slowly (under 10
mph) the truck make a creaking sound underneath when going over small bumps on the dirt road I live on. Not a “pop” or “click” more a creaking sound. If I had to guess I would say body mounts… or maybe shocks? Only does it when the truck is cold… once warm… sound gone. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a ship creaking? Or at least that's what I imagine when my truck does it. It's done it since it was new. I've had zero problems with the truck but it does always give me a little pause when backing out of the driveway in the morning and I hear those creaking noises. Funny that it's made it over to the new generation.

Yeah. All my cars and trucks have a different sound when its cold out. Its just the way it is. Things just become stiffer in the cold. They creek and make different sounds until they warm up. You ever feel stiff when u get out of bed. Slow to get moving after sleeping 7-8hrs. That's what your truck is going through.

I have the same creaking noise but I live in Florida. Don't think it's the cold. I do think it is leaf spring in my case so I'll do the wd40 thing and see if that works.

ISSUE A RECALL HURRY

In all seriousness. If its like bitter frigid cold...any car is gonna creak when driving.

Try spraying some WD-40 on the leafs in the back.

Why, are saying that water is the problem? WD-40: water Displacement-40th attempt. Was never intended as a lubicant. although it will work, I'd use a silicone spray.
