Yeah, I'm not a fan of that look... I just looks like something you could buy at PepBoys and stick on there! I like this much better.........

I think the 6.2L 15318 kit sounds Fing amazing!..Just looks like sh!t..maybe it would look better if the five inch tip came straight out the top of the hood! Then I could hang a bulls nut sack off my hitch.

Sorry to hear that! Mines a complete custom, tail pipes exit behind each wheel. Good luck on your next venture.

the website was wrong it's actually 4 in. Tubing O.D. size with a 5in Tip. I called Magnaflow about the advertising error on their website and all I got was an apology, they have since corrected the site except for the long box part #15329 which still shows the wrong specs.

#15329 arrived, here's the story on that: It's 3.5" from the 3rd cat to through the muffler (including the muffler). After the muffler it changes to 4" the rest of the way back (including the resonator) with a 5" tip. I haven't put it on yet so I can't say how it'll fit, but it looks beautifully made, very high quality.

Billion GMC where I bought my truck, they are a Magnaflow dealer. If the flange doesn't fit have Missle Muffler call Magnaflow..do not cut the flange off the factory exhaust to make it work. I'm going back to the factory exhaust with a 22' Magnaflow muffler minus the flapper valve.

Well I pulled the trigger and ordered a Dynomax ultra flow welded cat back system (they have a rebate going right now).. Along with a K&N CAI. I can't wait to get them both on.. It should bring this quiet Silverado to life!

So I've decided for dual rear exit

Anyone on know which is loudest???

Magnaflow 15268 or Flowmaster 817666 (think 817689 is the same but black tips)

Thanks

I'm looking at a magnaflow and leaving the dampener on, I've got a clamp on my flap holding it open now

I'm thinking about getting my exhaust done soon and I'm really leaning towards a true dual super 40. I love the way it sounds!

Have them cut the flapper valve out it's restrictive even when clamped open, it shouldn't cost you anymore as its right behind the factory muffler.

I'd be glad to take your advise! I've always preferred Magnaflow over Flowmaster. Hopefully it will burn in a little louder, nothing too obnoxious (Like my Vette! ), but a nice deep rumble...

Here are a couple more pix with side exit:

Mind telling me where you got the tips? I am considering getting my magnaflow dual exit under the bumper changed to dual out the sides, and If I do change it I'll certainly be getting those tips!

Looking for pics of dual side exit exhaust

Thanks

Google Corsa 2014 Silverado. They have dual tip side exhaust. There are some photos of our members here with that exhaust.

My exhaust shop got them from Red Tail Performance. It's a Corsa clone tip.

I ordered Borla Touring part # 140544. Just looking for a step above stock, not too loud. Just a deeper tone, these new trucks have almost no sound, GM was very successful at making them quiet.
