kzinge1 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Removed the factory lift blocks from my Double Cab Sierra. Had WAY too much rake from the factory. I really like the results. Dropped the rear about 1.5" and still gives me enough rake to not squat too far down when towing/hauling. No vibration issues either, aside from what it had from the factory, lol!

One of the reasons I got a RC is my daughter was 14 at the time and well... she is fixen to start driving and if we all take a trip it will be in the Wife's Pilot. So I kinda have my toy all to myself unless the wife wants to treat me to Dinner and of course I drive her. RT

BMRSNR Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Thanks Man . Pretty happy the way it turned out .. If your in Okc you should see it rolling around town .
BMRSNR Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 3.5 in the front , flip kit and lift hangers in the rear , which is 5 inches , im about 1.5 inches high in the rear from being level . going to see if it settles any and add some assist bags and bring it down a little more . rides awesome so far . install was a pain in the a%* tho .. I think mcgaughy's needs to work on their instructions a little more and maybe add some pics . 2

Devon Cormier Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Using Belltech 6401 shackles on a 14 silverado, was there any issue with removing or installing the top bolt do to a weld or something under the bed getting inthe way?? Was it neccessary to lossen the four frame bolts to gain clearance?

Was it neccessary to lossen the four frame bolts to gain clearance? I don't remember all the different kits that had a similar issue, but I remember seeing that a lot of people had to hammer fold over part of a weld seam for a clearance issue. It may be those same bolts that you're dealing with. I had a shop lower mine, so I'm not exactly sure if they had to do anything similar. Sorry I can't help more. 1
