Did my first wax on the truck today.

 

 

Looks good.....i was thinking about taking off the texas edition emblems...but looks pretty good taking off the silverado instead hmmmm

The newer Texas Edition Silverados only have it this way (minus Silverado). Was thinking of deleting Silverado myself after seeing one at the dealer this way.

The OEM wasn't dirty at all still looks new. Installing takes takes 10-15 min

My new tires stick out a little. So I ordered the Bushwacker Extend-a-fender 1.25" flares lastnight. My truck is summit white like the one pictured in the Bushwacker website, except for my white bumper and grill. The flares come painted black. I'll paint them white to match. I like the look of that truck below.

Mine only came with the Texas edition emblems. I think now the Texas edition LTZ have both the Silverado and Texas edition badges. When I was looking on the lot there were a bunch like mine there. But I do like it better.

Here is a pic with about 1400lbs of mulch in the rear. It was a little damp. 2 1/2 cubic yards. Supersprings really helped out. Rode great.

What's your build date? I was told (and read a bulletin to dealers that confirmed) that the newer trucks only have the Texas Edition badge instead of both. Mine (Texas Edition LTZ) was built in 08/13 and has both.

I added 2x 7 inch light bars as reverse lights that were tapped in the hitch. The switch is on a single pole double throw (on off on ) switch. First on is tapped into reverse lights only on in reverse then off is completely off and the other on is all time on lights. Any question on electrical wiring or setup feel free to ask and price of the led bars was 56$ a pop
