Added matte black vinyl for more of a solid look. For the white trucks I think It looks good. 10 bucks for both sides i installed then i mean it's only a sticker

I bought those same led's back in August and my first attempt failed. Put them in my toolbox and never got back around to it.

 

Do you have any detailed pictures of the mounting you did?

 

I Never took photos of the fabrication or installation process but I did take close up shots of the LEDs once everything was done.

Ok so I didn't like the stock huge z71 sticker on my truck but I did want my truck to say z71 somewhere. Here's what I came up with. ...

I just installed the 14-15 Chevy Silverado 1500 Regular+Extended+Crew Cab Triple Chrome Taillight Trim Cover. I feel it looks good with the other chrome I installed on my truck.

I tapped into the low beam headlights, so they turn on whenever the low beam/DRL turn on. Which is pretty cool because they act like DRLs and are bright enough to tell. Thought about tapping into the amber city lights, but then decided I wanted them to turn on with the DRLs, plus pulling the wires to the city was a tad bit tougher.

I know most everyone's truck came with this, but mine didn't. So I ordered the GMPP chrome exhaust tip with the Chevy bowtie logo. Put it on this morning and it looks much better than the raw piping.

 

 

 

Also installed my driver assist handle today.

That's handy. OEM? They only come with the two - left and right, so you got more of the same and just tapped them in - one on each side? Were the mounts already there?

BTW It looks like you got a boat hook similar t the one I just got to help grab those things that slide far away up front. ;-)

Yes, i bought another OEM set off of eBay and just spliced them in. Yes, one more on each side. No, there were no mount holes for the new set, so I just drilled 4 holes and used short metal screws.

 

The hook is called the EZ Retreiver by Access. I bought it from eTrailer.com. It telescopes to retreive stuff. I velcroed it to the Bedrog.
