Experimented with an "extra" bumper I came across, plastidipped the plastics to get a feel for the look..and well now I'm stuck trying to make it happen for real because I love the look!

Did you pull the plastic off to dip it? Or dip it on the truck? If you pulled it off how difficult was it? I can't imagine it being too difficult but I am curious. I am planning to take mine off soon so I can spray mine with some Rustoleum truck bed liner to give it a bit better grip.

It looks good but I am not sure if I want to take off my shoes to get into the truck all the time. How do you think it will hold up?

I found a post on you tube on the 2014 sierra dome light. The wires are under the drivers side windshield post.or the grab handle. it's the bigger grey wire. I haven't looked yet on mine but that's where it was said to be. I'm going to use a 12 volt tester and poke the wire to see if it works as it should. It will be the weekend till I get to mine. I'm planning on installing lights on my doors inside under the handles on the door panel so it will light up the interior and when I open the doors it will light up the steps. I'm going to route the wires with the other wires thru the rubber sleeve that carries the other door wires. Now if I can only figure out how to get the panel off .

Take off feels a little smoother. MPGs maybe between .5 to 1 ... Under the hood looks much better than the stock unit. You can definitely hear it when you get on it. I am still running stock exhaust ... After market duals would sure help but not sure if I am ready for the v4 drone that comes with them.

Not a bad upgrade for 2 bills.

201-785 is the 5.3L part number for the dry filter kit .... That's what I went with.

Check this url out :

Thanks for the link though, hah.

Just got my truck back after having 1.5" body lift installed, I think it looks good. Just a little extra so I can squeeze some more rubber under there instead of these 285/55/20's. And I can still park in my parking garage. I'd post a pic but it won't let me for some reason.

Its been long over due of what ive done so far: got my windows and windshield tinted, added a gibson exhaust, added floor lights, added lights to the center console that come one at night, swapped out headlights for projector lights and HID, plastidipped bowties and side emblems, rough country 2.5" lift, swapped stock tires for 275/77R18 exo grapplers, plastidipped rims (need to be redone after getting my tires)

Guys, anyone put led replacement bulbs in? Got a plethora of LED bulbs laying around and I'm gonna throw them in the stock heads and tails until my OEM projectors get back from FAST. The reason I ask is because I'm wondering how they look under the amber portions of the headlights and red taillights...any one got some pictures for me? I figure they'll be noticeably brighter but how much brighter can they be??

The Jr. kit for the 6.2 is available. P/N 201-711 for dry filter , 200-711 for the oiled filter.
