I just has a 6inch BDS lift kit installed. Dealer sold me lift with upgraded Fox 2.0 shocks for just about 1900 and install was about 700. All depends where you go and if they will work with you.

That's awesome, my local dealer quoted a similar price over the phone. I'm actually ordering my 6" BDS kit with coilovers and glide rite leaf springs tomorrow.

Your getting ripped off paying $700 for installation of your BDS. I payed $300 to get my 4" BDS installed on my 2007.5 and it took them a day and a half to complete.

Considering the instructions claim 7-8 hours, most of all shops are gonna charge 7-8 hours labor plus environmental and such. Hell, it only took me 4 hours to do my 02 when I installed my lift, that's just all extra profit for them

I live in Upstate NY and the only part of the lift kit I can't do myself is the welding. In NY to pass inspection the welding has to be done by a certified welder. Also I have 37s so there was some additional time required for slight trimming and pinning the wheel well back. Shops up here charge about $66 a hour for labor and the dealerships are higher. When I was in GA had a shop quote me $500 for install but that was 2 years ago.

37's on a 6" lift? What offset wheel are you using and how wide is it? Only lift I've seen that will take a 37" tire was a CST 8" lift

In my opinion the $700 is a pretty fair price. The front end alone will take a few hours, another couple for dropping the gas tank and installing the leaf springs, then another hour or so to move the tpms to the new wheels and mount/balance, an alignment and a 15 mile test drive before delivery.

You can fit them on a 6" but you'll need to trim the bumper some. I talked to BDS a while ago and they said on a 20x8.5 w/ 5.5" backspace you can fit a 37x12.5 without trimming. But only if you are planning to drive ONLY on nice pavement. If you plan to hit any kind of roads with bumps in it then you'll need to trim the bumper. The black truck on their site advertising the 6" has 37s on 20s on it.

I'll just stick to 35's considering I may want to actually use a 4wd truck off road lol. I think I'm gonna wait until they make rear gears available for our trucks before I install the lift and bigger tires. Too sluggish without regearing

I've already tested my truck with the 37s off road so far no issues just had the shop check it out after the first 500 miles after lift ended up being more about 800 miles. Shop said no rubbing issues and no problems that they could see. They guarantee there work so if it rubs and messes up the tire they will replace it. I already some how got a scratch on one of my new wheels. The shop said they would order a replacement and take care of everything. Edited by Ryans14ThungstunZ71

I can't believe how much the off road shop next to my work just quoted me to install the 6" BDS lift. Are you guys ready for it, $1500-1700. JUST FOR INSTALL! My jaw hit the floor when they told me those numbers. Guess I'll be driving the 60 miles to my actual "local" BDS dealer for installation. By the way on my lift I will be running a 20x10 with 4.5" BS/ -24 offset with a 35x13.5r20 tire. I think I'll have some trimming to do lol.

I was gonna run the same backspace/ offset/ wheel width and tire combo. Let me know of any rubbing issues

Actually I'll be running a 12.5 tire, but same rim size/ wheel width/ offset

Rough country UCA's with moog ball joints

There was another member that wasn't able to get the RC UCAs to fit correctly and had to purchase a different brand. Did you do the install yourself? Maybe RC updated their design.
