Thanks man. Yea im pretty pleased. I mean for 12$ + <1hr of my time, makes this, pound for pound, the best mod so far!

... Also, did you use the 3M tape only or 3M and screws?

I did the 3m tape only for now. I wiped all of the surfaces (the underside of the rails and back sides of the light housings), with acetone assuring everything was free of dirt and oils, before applying the 3m tape. We will see how long it holds up. but once i stuck it, i couldnt relocate it so it seems very secure. I hate the idea of putting holes in my new truck. I did keep the screws just in case tho Edited by dbcooper748

Well this one was about as easy as it gets. Clean, stick, run wires, pull tail lights, tap using T-taps to reverse lights. I used the light green for + and black for -. Of course you have to do the cargo/reverse light mod first, which you can find the write up in the forum (i think its a sticky thread).

Now the courtesy light is gonna be a bit more challenging...

I installed the pop and lock. I need to tie the wire up a little better but it works.

Also, on my to-do list. OMG I cant stop modding! I think i have a problem lol

Thanks brother, I will Def document this mod you did and add it to my building.. And it sounds like the courtesy lights will be tough, but I'm sure you'll figure it out.. Good luck man

Just finished upgrading my headlights to the H9 phillips mod.

Also installed aftermarket under rail LED bed lighting!

Lights look good. I did the same with my 2010 but Ialso ran a strip of lights across the bed behind the cab.

Not the best of pictures but the only one I have for now.

Very easy mod. actually. I used my trailer plug wiring so I have constant power. Mounted my switch on the left hand side on the truck bed. Easy to access and out of the way. I can turn the switch on without having to have the key in the accessory position. Best mod. I've done so far.

EDIT : Here's one at a better angle and shows the front of the bed.

I like that emblem, it's a nice touch to the grille without a Z71 emblem there.

If you don't mind me asking, how much do they run and where did you find it?

Didnt do anything fancy but put another 1200 miles on her driving from Cali back to Texas. 16.5 straight hours and not a single issue. Love this truck
