What have you done to your K2 today?

I have mine HMI unlocked so the video will not switch at any speed. The only time the video switch is when you put in reverse.

Just saw this post. Does your rear camera still work and how do you switch between the two? I'm a Masshole too in Hull. Would like to meet up someday and get some more tips.

They wouldnt turn on. They came back on this morning on the way home so idk what happened to cause the fail. This is the only issue I have had with them since I installed them. I have the DDM 55w kit with the wiring harness.

Edit: Tried them again last night and they are dead again. Pulled the whole kit out of the truck and put the stockers back in until the new stuff arrives. On both of the hid bulbs there was some corrosion on the middle of the bulbs all the way around. I have never seen that before so who knows.

I'll bet your relay went bad if you have that dual in harness.

I added Retro Shop switchback led lights and a 24" light bar behind the grille.

Ditched the 305/55 idea and went with 305/50. That's a one inch difference and it makes a big difference. I'm going to finish it up tomorrow, but here's what she's looking like right now. 20x12's on 305/50r20 Toyo AT2's 2.5" Level.

& a comparison of the new setup vs stock with 2" spacers

Hey man first off bad ass looking rig!! Second are you running a -44 offset? How much did you have to trim and do you think if you would have had the 1.5 body lift the 33x12.50x20 would fit? The reason I am asking is because I want to ditch the 20x9 +18 wheels that I have and go to something wider. I was thinking 20x10 -24 but if a 20x12 -44 will fit then I will go that route. I just need to be able to keep my tires which are 33x12.50x20 Toyo RTs. Thanks for any info.

Would you mind sharing where you tapped into for the foot well lighting?

There are a few places you can tap into, but I chose in the drivers side footwell. You could also try the drivers side front pilar. In the footwell there are 3 connectors that have wires running to them. You want the one on the left side, a grey 26 pin connector. Specifically pin 1, which is a grey wire. I T tapped off of this. You can test in by opening your doors(seeing that the dome lights come on) then unplugging the connector. If the lights go out, that's the one. I ran my wires under the floor carpet to hide everything. PM me if you need help. Nitrodatsik was a huge help for me on this one.

Thanks bro, yes the wheels are -44 offset. I trimmed quite a bit, the rear of the felt liner was cut and metal was also cut. 20x10 would fit with almost 0 issues on just a level, plenty of guys run that. 20x12's are a little tougher though, I've seen some guys run true 33's like the RT's & MT's on x12's and leveling kits but they must've trimmed pretty heavy. A 1.5" body lift would help you out a lot. I know two guys that run 22x12 on 33x12.50r22 with a 3.5" RCX lift. So you would be at 4" and should be able to run that, but you'd still have to trim.

The rear camera switch normal when you put in reverse. And switch back when out of reverse. hit me up when you're around the area.
