Nice!! Mine is having all that done in a couple weeks! Local shop is booked till then but getting full detail in and out with headlight restoration! Not happy I have to wait but it will be worth it!

It'll be worth it bro! So easy to clean now. Stuff doesn't stick nearly as bad.

Recently had her detailed at a local shop. Full paint correction and Opticoat ceramic sealer. Look at that reflection on the door!! Damn! Also dropped the Diablo Tune and added a Black Bear Tune. There is a noticeable difference.

Lol Thanks! It looked that nice for about 8 hours. Then it rained. Much easier to keep it clean with the coating on it tho.

Does the dirt pretty much just slide off when you hose it down?

It'll still waterspot even with a ceramic sealant. Just adds some sickness, gloss and hardness to the clear for protection.

Get some McGuire's or Mother detailing spray and wipe it down with a nice microfiber or soft cotton towel. Should look pretty close to what it did when you picked it up.

Ok so, I am going to say hell yes this will do well for working in the dark! Here are some night pics, no flash.
Night shot of lights
Night shot of engine bay
The kit I got was this one from Diode Dynamics, Cool White.
No bouncing, pin switch is just above the fender top when hood is open and compresses easily on close. Simple install, I used an existing hole in the fender near battery. Few tries to get it to the close position I wanted.
Install for lights was easy, I uses some wire base mounts to zip tie to, and will run the wires under the insulation and mount more bases in there, have to go get some (along with christmas trees I lost ha)
Also need to cover the wires and mount them better by the hinge, but I got tired today.
Hope this helps!

This worked way better than I thought it would. So this is stand alone and just run wires to battery? Did you order the optional extra LED strips or is that just the base Cool White Led strips for 30 bucks?

Quick wash today.

Also had the muffler deleted. Need to figure out the upload of videos later. I'm on Tapatalk.

Yeah I was impressed. Just the base $30 kit! I it comes with a cool splitter and extension which I used to lengthen to far light. Splitter has two more open spots, I may add two more strips to the left and right edges of hood at some point, just because :)

A lot does but not all. I noticed it the most with pollen here in New Engand. Blows off with the wind. I try to mist with detail spray and wipe down with microfiber cloth right after washing. Bugs hose off way easier too.

Picked mine up from its first oil change!! Was on the house at the dealer and they put a new set of led fogs in because they were different colors !!

I was expecting it to be a pain in the a$$ but I brought with me a small list of deficiencies with my '17 Denali and they addressed them all !!!

Awesome work GMC !!
