Added my power folding mirrors.

Then do you replace the whole door and controls to get the button, or just add a button somewhere?

What did I do with my K2 today (well, yesterday)?

I rolled past 38K and went down to buy my daughter a Chevy Cruze Eco. As soon as I got home with it, she was telling me what mods, that I have done to my Silverado, that she wants done to it.

1) All forward-facing white lights on with HI-beams

2) LEDs all the way around (inside/outside) (I haven't finished this one yet with my truck)

3) Phone holder (current/primary project for me)

I may throw in (when I do mine):

1) Lights under the hood

2) LED strip lights underneath (when I throw on my nerf bar lights)

3) Better trunk lighting

4) Footwell lighting(?)

Replaced the entire harness w one provided by pgamboa hence why I had to remove door panel AND replaced mirror control switch w one that has power folding button. Have you read his thread before? It's in the modifications subsection as well, "DL8, DL3, Towing Mirror Upgrade - Mirrors Explained"

Well, I got off my dead arse and slapped my G2 differential cover on in 110 degree heat ambient! I had really no issues and that is with the Hellwig rear sway bar already installed. It holds 4 qts right up to the top fill line! It's pretty stout and looks nice too! I will post a more in depth response soon and maybe a picture. I know many people have been waiting for these and a couple heads up will help it's nothing crazy but any advice is better than none.....

Replaced the leaky axle seal and upgrade the differential cover. Had never done one. Realized the internet is a little hard to follow when you have aftermarket parts installed. Had to modify some brackets a bit to get it all out back together. Was also able to remove the spacer ring that was installed when the 4.10s got put in.956d058b468ceab8079d4196f85f1b23.jpg7917e25475cf432b027e3b41475fbfbd.jpg92ab0d6904334b5e65fd3f47df816dd1.jpg104efd45ede8d3c01a44e2e8c9f2ecda.jpgb99241448793b9be495c3dcbc503dec5.jpg134a4cf71f30cb45d032bc71f30a6d7c.jpg

That mount looks clean.

I agree, one of he best I've seen. I was just checking their website and they actually have four or five different mounting locations (for trucks with or without full console). A little pricey but really nice as they are made to snap onto different locations....no tape or screws or vent clips.

I don't know if it still works or not, but I found a coupon for the Pro Clips that got 10% Off. Just use "10off". Every little bit helps.

Buddy had one similar on his Blazer for years. This console one has two pieces of double sided tape and then it actually locks into the bottom trim groove.

May be a dumb question, what's that big indentation in the cover for?
