If you haven't put oversize tires on yet, you are in for a treat. The brakes get pretty heavy on the pedal to stop and the fade is bad as well. I ended up with a set of 14.25" 6 piston Wilwoods on the front. More stuff...

that really sucks... wonder if you could have gotten away with stainless steal lines and better pads.

My truck weighs a lot less then yours, so that might be in my favor.

Want to see more pictures of those on stock lift. I'm worried they make look like it will need a lift to look balanced again. Other than that I'd love more view even when not towing.

I agree. On a stock 1500 they look sorta funny, which is why I'll wait to get some until I at least level the truck and put 33's and maybe some offset wheels under it. I think the offset wheels will help counter the look of how far the mirrors stick out

What are you guys using as Cell Phone mounts/holders? I've been keeping my phone in my center console cup holder (Crew Cab with NO Center Console) However when I'm using my phone as a GPS this really does not work well since my phone is not within my line of sight. I really don't like windshield mounts since they require my phone to be clipped in all the time.

I'll admit, they do look a bit funny on even my leveled truck, but I only got them now because I got a great deal on them and didn't want to pass it up and possibly not get the same great deal in the future. I plan to lift my truck this summer so that should help balance them out [emoji106]

With how they look a bit odd on even a leveled truck, I personally wouldn't do it on an unlevel, stock 1500. Would just look out of place IMO

Proclipusa.com. awesome mounts with options to pick from. They also do it 2 piece so it you get a new phone the truck mount still works and you get the phone side only.

Having an LT I have the split bench with the 3 cup holder center console so I just keep my phone in one of them. If the small slots behind the cup holder were taller I would sit mine up in one of them but being as shallow as they are my phone always tipped over in a normal turn so I just use a cup holder.

As for as using it as a GPS, I just keep it in the cup holder. Not where I want it to be since I have to look down, but I haven't really found a good holder that mounts on the windshield that's wide enough and doesn't cost much. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 with an Otterbox case. If anything I just pick the phone up and look at it near the steering wheel.

Yea, that is exactly what I currently do except I have a 5s with an Otterbox Commuter Case. I don't like this because I'd rather have my hands on the steering wheel vs one on the phone. There are always the times when the I do this and the phone falls for whatever reason. I did check out proclipusa.com as recommended above. They have great solutions, this is my favorite one;

I would just have to get a long enough cable and tuck it under the panels and I think would look pretty sharp.

They have a few more here; http://www.proclipusa.com/dashboard-mounts/vehicle/gmc/sierra-1500-series/2014.cmsv
