Interesting, huh...the rear is only dye from the factory, so I'm told, with little to no UV protection. This clear film filters out the harmful UV and keeps the heat out. I didn't want it any darker in the back, so there it is. It really makes a difference!

If you look at this sample board, the clear is above the 30 sample.3e0fa2a04efb361a048ecc6bf00afce6.jpg

I got Llumar ceramic tint all around. Brought the rear down to 15, front to 35 and put on their Air 80 tint on the entire front windshield. It's almost clear and mainly just blocks heat and UV as well. Stuff was pricey but worth it on this truck.

We talked about the clear on the front too...its legal now in Texas. But we are going from two stickers to one (registration & inspection to just registration) this year. I may go back and have the front done afterward.

Well, if I get this http://www.ebay.ca/itm/HD-Night-Vision-Car-Rearview-Camera-Universal-Auto-Parking-Reverse-Backup-Camera-/281633335496?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4192a7a8c8

and

It is totally possible, but I am not sure how easy it is to hook up the video module, I would like someone to shine some light on this if anyone has done it

sucks it cost that much to interface a $10 camera into it. I have plans to wrap my center bezel, but I can't even find time to get my fastheadlight adapters or the replacement lights for my AMP steps installed lately.

I did clear on the windshield, but not the back. I had no clue it only blocked light and not UV. I guess I'll add it at some point.

Either that or buy a cheap $20 4.3 inch LCD as an eye sore lol

I am leaning towards the build in screen, this way, I can mirror my google maps to it too!

Took the OEM nerf bars off in preparation for nfab installation tomorrow. Kind of like the look but makes it a little hard to get in and out of the truck.

I just ordered some NFAB textured black steps today. I like the look without them too. I didn't like my factory steps because they seem to get in the way when getting out.

Nothing major. I took off the Z71 decals off the side of the bed and replaced them with the Z71 emblems that are on the door of the Custom Sport trucks. I like it because from a distance it looks like the factory decals so it doesn't look out of place. I think an emblem looks much better than a simple decal. I know some people like debadging but this is one of those things where I like replacing the decal with an emblem.

tried to diagnose a clicking, ticking, or rattle on the driver side window. coming from the black plastic. easy to press it and it stops. I just can't figure out how its on there to pull it off. I think some double sided tape will fix it.

Also, installed the driver assist handle.

You'll have to remove the door panel. Then you can remove the seal trim piece and add tape or whatever you want. then install the trim piece separately from the door panel, then the door panel.

here's a thread with a quick video I found that shows the key parts to it. It's not too bad at all to do.

I like the badging on the dash. I want to do something there. Not that big but something like the SLT badging I pulled off the rear.
