Yep, the part number is 22944882. Have one here new in the box. Was going to put it on, now not sure.

I think it would look much better then the grey piece. How hard would it be to install it.

If I looked these up right I believe this is what you are looking for. They are the black moldings without the appearance package. looks like the fronts retail for about 45 bucks and the rears about 50

Where are you finding these part numbers? I'm looking for paintable window sill trim so I can make it match my onyx black truck, but cant find the trim anywhere.

I ordered factory black steps and window mouldings online. Purchased take-off door handles and mirror caps off of Ebay and then sold my chrome parts on Craigslist. Ended up $150.00 out of pocket when all was said and done and have all factory painted or new parts. No plasti-dip here.

Mirror caps are almost impossible to remove without breaking the clips that hold them on but obviously some have figured out how to do it since the ones I got off Ebay were perfect.

Door handles take about 5 min. each after you do the first one. Tricky part to them is getting the fork inside the door to engage with the handle but it's easy after you do the first one. Some suggest using fishing line but I used a 90 degree pick and it worked just fine. Removal of the handles is simple. One torx screw behind a plastic cap on the jamb part of the door above the latch. Just don't remove the screws on the rear doors all the way. I've heard the nut plate backing them up can fall into the door if you do. Front ones are ok to remove all the way.

Door mouldings are very easy to remove and replace as well. Front doors have a torx screw at the rear of the moulding inside the door. With the window down there are four white plastic clips that hold the moulding to the door. All you have to do is pull them slighly towards the inside of the car using a small pick and they wiil release. You can then slide the front mouldings rearward about a 1/4 of an inch so they pull out of the mirror housing. Rear doors are similar in that they have a torx screw but its on the forward part of the door and are hidden behind a piece of the rubber door seal. Releasing the white clips is the same as on the front doors.

Hope this makes sense and helps out as I totally suck at write-ups.

I own a repair shop and have access to a software program that can pull up OEM part diagrams and part numbers for several of the major manufacturers.

By door molding do you mean window sill trim? If so can you send me the link to where you purchased it? Also where did you find painted handles and mirror caps? I can't find any in onyx black anywhere.

I have a 2014 sierra crew cab and I'm willing to trade my chrome window trim straight up for black. Also does anyone know if I was to order black textured plastic handles if they are good enough quality to paint?

Textured trim rarely paints well.

some truth to that satement. if you take it to some joe blow paint shop and have them paint them without the person who is sanding/painting knowing what the hell they are doing then yeah they will come out looking like chit. but if the body shop knows how to paint them then they will looks just as good as if they were not textured.

i had the upper and loser plastic textured pieces on my 02 silverado painted black to match and they came perfect. they never started to chip or anything due to the plastic or quality of paint. the only thing is i was off road one time and the lower plastic piece hit the ground or something and it caused the plastic to felx which in turn caused the paint to crack. no the painters fault or the textured plastic being the problem it was the plastic felxing that caused the problem well maybe my driving had something to do with it too. but since you door handles and mirror caps have no chance of "bottoming out" anywhere i wouldnt worry about that.

Yes, window molding. Sorry about the confusion. Purchased mine at Genuinegm.com. Shipping from them is usually cheaper than from gmpartsdirect.com. Part numbers below:

Black Window Moldings

Frt Right 20964063
Frt Left 20964064
Rear Right 20963927
Rear Left 20963928

I found the mirror caps and handles on Ebay from this seller: http://www.ebay.com/usr/ntftakeoffs The 2014 stuff seems to get sold pretty quickly so you have to keep an eye on it daily.

2014 GMC Sierra CrewCab chrome window trim.

The prices are basically the same at most of the online retailers I checked. Free shipping is probably where you will see the difference.

I can't pull up this photo of the part #'s. Can you email or attach it to me via private message?

    • Thanks for all the help so far!   I did try right from 2026 right down to 2021, and only from 2023 down lets me select the option for tire psi change, but I get the vehicle not supported error!   I'll definitely try it under Chevrolet after work today, and I'll get the sensor number from gm for my truck tire sensors. And I'll let you know if it works for me under Chevrolet!   And if that doesn't work, I'm going to guess that what @Atlas said about maybe I have a different body control module could be true!
    • From where I'm sitting this sounds like a compatibility problem. I'm assuming the 2007 was a 900-series truck, and not an 800-series (they were sold side-by-side in dealerships that model year), since it starts and runs.   This is why I HATE post-2006 vehicles. Everything becomes a huge problem when you try to keep the thing running for longer than the manufacturer has designed it to.    I can't remember when Global-A architecture started - either '10 or '11. For your sake, you had better hope it's '11, or you're going to be spending some BIG money to correct this cluster-eff. That's something you need to find out before doing anything else. You may have several computers bricked ... but the fact that it runs tells me you MIGHT be ok here.     EDIT: Just did a quick refresher. You're screwed. This is Global-A. The 2 systems are NOT compatible in the slightest. Once you get the correct engine in there that IS compatible, you're going to need to see how many computers are locked. Absolute NIGHTMARE to straighten out, too. Your buddy might be better off cutting his losses and finding something else.   Welcome to post-2006 vehicle electronics. This is why I quit the industry, and drive nothing built after 1994. This stuff takes all the fun out of wrenching!

    • True, hard to say what differences there may or may not be between Chev and GM as well as a production year or mid year part change either.    I just found it odd that under the Sierra choice on the Autel that many of the last few years of production year did not include the choice of changing the tire pressure but if that is an Autel thing or a GM thing as to why the choices were not there. Knowing what tpms sensors are on the truck should give some guidance into which choices on the tool even make sense to try as I wouldn't give up just yet with the tool but I guess he will see what if anything he comes up with if he finds out a bit more info and tries a few more things on the Autel.
    • I'm sure if you went to a junkyard where you go in and pull the part off the truck yourself, not a used part place where they do it for you, you can get that part on it's own.  Depending on if and what else you would be buying, and time of day, they might even just skip over adding it as a item to the bill.
