Why no apps yet?

We need some apps for the mylink system ! And can anyone tell me how to download them IF they where available?

GM hasn't released any apps yet. I do agree there needs to be apps for the system though.. I'm sure eventually they'll be available probably thru some kind of GM App Store. If I had to take a stab at it.. Maybe when the 15's come out there will be more info/updates to make the my link experience a whole lot better. I'm hoping for google maps to be a downloadable app.

Google maps would be tits. I wounder how that would work for people with out nav. Cell GPS would be fine with me. Just mirror it to the 8" screen.

Id love to see Google maps.. But then GM wouldn't be able to hose us for their mediocre nav system.

i would like to see an off road app. my buddies ecoboost fx4 has an off road app and it's pretty cool it has like a truck diagram picture on the screen in the cluster and it'll tell you at what degree your truck is front to back and side to side. it'll also tell you if your in 4wd and has like a little diagram. it's pretty cool when you climbing a hill and you can see at what degree the truck is. so far we have gotten it as high as about 16*.

I'm in southern PA near the MD line and they are on the lots at many of the dealers around here ...

I wouldn't hold your breath or any Maps or "navi" type apps. If they do this they would never sell trucks with factory Navi - $750+ lose on their end. Makes no sense for them to release any map apps..

I hope I am wrong but my gut tells me the 2015's will have the app store due to GM signing up with ATT and moving to different system. Got a feeling we are going to get screwed.

GM is already putting BringGo in the Sonic and Spark. They just are not doing it in the more expensive vehicles.
