If you are adding an emblem that is not from the factory that is exactly what you are trying to do, show off... Whether you are trying to let the world know you drive a 4x4 or have the biggest engine it is only an attempt to impress.

 

I'm all for accenting certain emblems but adding just looks, well you said it best. What comes to mind when you see a M or AMG badge on a mid level german sedan???

Yeah i know his truck didnt come with that emblem...Well he's not lieing about what he has under the hood. He has a L86. He thought of the idea. And emblem pros made him the emblem. I can't answer for everyone.. but that emblem that he put on his tailgate is sexy. And for the showing off part.. well then just about everyone here is showing off. Cause almost everyone here has put tint, or exhaust, lifted, lowered, bigger wheels and tires...etc. Each one of us have different tastes.

How dare anyone or any company build something or modify it and put a sticker on. My gosh people get out there and take those LineX stickers off your back window RIGHT NOW and the NERVE of all these companies like Fold-A Cover putting badges on their products. I am about ready to debadge everything, probably put like some duct tape over that chit! There ought to be a law against this stuff. I nominate Tyler (he is probably head of his HOA committee so may not have time for this) to head up the committee and get these laws in place immediately. Hahahahahahahahahaha

Donstar that is awesome. My opinion on L86 decals is simple. I like seeing the look on young punks faces when a random truck drags them down the highway from the light. They look so confused as to why they couldn't pace a pickup in their 2010 Mustang GT or supercharged Cobalt rice edition, then questions proceed like "What all do you have done to that thing, I've killed a lot of Silverados." with me responding, "stock, CAI." I like the subtle sleeper type look. Be even better if I could afford to hide a Procharger under the hood.
