The bar has been set. First modded 2014 6.2 to hit the 1/4 mile track

Went to Toronto Motorsports Drag park won't the Denali.today. The truck has the Magnussen tvs 1900 and a set of American Racing long tube headers.

Awhile back in stock form it ran 14.7 @ 96 mph. Today it ran 13.15@ 103 mph. A big thanks to Dasilva Motorsports in Kitchener ontario. Timeslip pics to follow.

Just curious, you've upgraded this beast of a machine so much. You've successfully made a 5300lb hunk of steel and aluminum able to blow many sport cars off the line.

But have you upgraded the brakes?

I always wondered why people felt like they had to upgrade the brakes when the mod their motor. I never did. 0 to 60 in 5 seconds or 7, its still 60. Now if your going to exceed 100 mph often, the do it. Or road courses.

I personally think the brakes on these trucks have great stopping power! Once you found a point where significant fading starts, then it's time to upgrade.

No I haven't considered a brake upgrade. Seeing as I will never hit 100 plus mph on a highway, I shouldn't need t them, now if I were to add more weight such as off road goodies like roll bars, bigger tires, etc, then maybe I would.
