Anyone w/ 14/15 have gas pump click off issues?

Before I buy my 3rd Denali Sierra, wanted to know if anyone is having the pump click off 400 times before the tank is full. My 08 & 11 both did/do it to this day & I really hope the filler neck design isn't the same.

Yes, my '14 does it a little (not as much as my '11 did), but if I play with it and get it positioned just right, it is fine. Doesn't happen all of the time...

and thought it may just be the pump, angle of the pumps, etc... Now I know im not the only one! what the hell is the cause of this?

My 14 HC does it every time until I mess with it and get it just right. Pisses me off to no end.

Haven't had it happen once. I stick the gas cap in the handle if that makes a difference?

My 11 silverado and 07 Tahoe where awful but no issues yet with my 14

It usually happens to me once or twice on every fill up.

I do now and then. Ive found leaving the pump out about 1/4 of the way solves the problem for me.

The only time I have it happen is when I shove the filler all the way in. I pull it out about half the length of the nozzle tube and all is well. And it doesn't click off until she's truly full.

 

For what it's worth, my Ford Edge sometimes does it, too. In the past I had a Dodge Durango that also did it.

Yep, mine cuts off constantly as well. Sucks when it's cold and windy out.

How low is the fuel level a quarter or low fuel light on low?

My 1500 2014 works fine except when it's low-light empty. Then I have one kick out if I put it in all the way and pull the valve to full blast. After a couple gallons, I can pull it to a full flow on the fuel nozzle.

Me neither. I've had my 14 for a year and have never had this happen once.
