Ran the Diablo tune against the Diablo Flex Tune yesterday.

The straight Diablo tune feels stronger, felt like it had more bottom end, and pulled harder on top. The Flex Tune does have a good midrange pull.

I also noticed my milage was better on the Flex Tune.

I was on the site earlier and they claim in a forum (fall of 2013) http://www.diablosport.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=46145 that it was part of the base tune.

Maybe its just the break in the cold weather but my morning 35 mile commute (no hard or WOT driving) with the new Diablo Flex tune yeilded a 2mpg increase according to the DIC. I track each tankful so we will see how it ends up.

I was noticing a increase in Milage also, maybe from cutting some fuel.

To "me", bottom felt softer, topend didn't pull as hard.

The tune performed and ran good, I just felt the Diablo tune was alittle better.

E-85 Milage appears may increase.

Drove it hard on the way home tonight. To me it seems well kind of awful compared to the regular Diablo tune I just had on it. Something definitely isn't right. That 1-2 shift lag at wot like several of you mentioned seems like forever. Even part throttle shifts sometimes seem sluggish now. And I'm using the same hard shift tcm tune as before so its not that. I swear it stumbled a few times also when I was messing around during my lunch break. I hammered it once then immediately left off cus the wheels were spinning too much for where I was at and didn't wanna draw attention to myself and I swear the truck about stalled. I used the torque app to capture a few 0-60 runs tonight and compared to before I'm now 0.8 seconds slower.

I guess I'll email Diablosports and let them know. If several of us are experiencing the same thing they may want to take another look at their tune.

Diablosports responded pretty quickly to my email. Even are willing to examine some logs I collected today which is cool. Hopefully I provide some useful info for them.

So I've now gone 3000 miles using E85 and have averaged 13.2 mpg hand calculated over that span after averaging 15.3 mpg on regular 87 for the first 1000 miles. Only a 14% decrease in mpg and E85 pricing has been consistently 18-20% less than 87. I'm pretty happy with that.

Update: Diablosports got me a custom tune right away after looking over my logs.

Truck drives much nicer now. Haven't noticed any of the hesitation during up shifts, its very quick, and when it downshifts it seems to hold the gear much longer now which I really like. I'm happy again :-)

They said they'd be releasing an update to the tunes asap and if anyone else is having issue to contact them.

And it still appears my mpg on the flex tune is still better than before! These guys are great.

Did they get your concerns address? The new tune they provided me continues to run well. My mpg on E85 is definitely up.

I haven't had time to send in tune. They promptly replied to my email, and asked for the tune file, no data logs.

I pulled it last night, and will send it in today.

I had to reinstall the flex tune the way I set it up, so that I could send the file he requested in, and it def shifts lazy on regular accel. The flex tune is better than stock, but makes you appreciate the regular Diablo tune in the first few miles of running the current flex tune.

Idk what i was doing but the ethanol gods were looking down on me. Where i live e85 is usually almost a dollar less than gas. When gas was just around 2 bucks i was paying 1.07 for a gallon of e85. And since work pays me 50 cents a mile i kill it.
