Buffing compound thats used for wet sanding and then with a polish pad and polish

I am assuming a light color compound? If I understand the polishing compounds the darker the color the heavier the grit, such as a light color is a finer grit, correct?

Not really. The grit amount has to do with buffing scratches and buffing after wet sanding

That's why you don't actually pry with the tool. This is such a simple task, no clue why people make it way harder than it has to be. And if you have to ask what compound is you shouldn't be using it, your paint will thank you

Yeah. No tools should be touching the paint. I used dental floss to saw off the ones on the wife's Tahoe.

Fishing line also works well. I used that tonight to pull off a few tail gate emblems. In the process of removing the adhesive from the gate now.

Used fishing line as well. Sawed right through. Still need to do the doors but it's below freezing here in tx. Anything below 50 and I don't want any part of it lol

Just a double check this is the 3M wheel people are talking about. Its called a stripe off wheel, not eraser wheel. I went to 3M's website and all I could find is reference to this stripe off wheel, nothing about an eraser wheel
