Your projectors are really out of alignment

What pictures are you looking at... The angle of the headlights wasn't even adjusted they are just new bulbs...

What did you do with the caps on the back of the headlights? Did they fit with the large heat sink on the back of the bulbs?

I kept the High Beam caps off. The Low Beam caps were drilled in the back for the HID kit wiring.

Here are some pictures of this morning.

Have you got any pictures of the LEDs from inside the hood? I've got some that I'm trying to get up the nerve to install and would really like to see what the installation looks like. I also read somewhere on here that the lowbeam LEDs have problems because of the pulse (whatever that is) that the daytime running lights have. Did you notice it?

My Low Beams are HID's because VLED's DID NOT recommend using the LMZ's for Low Beam. I didn't take any pictures of the install, but I will say, on the High beam, I turned the Collar out roughly 7 times to get the LED bulb Horizontal. And I would recommend plugging in the 2 connections together before installing it. Much easier.

Unless there is some unseen force casting that angled cutoff against the wall with yours, the rotation on one projector is out an embarrassing amount.

Maybe I didn't have it perfectly straight on? Not sure, I know the Driver's side is usually lower not to blind on coming traffic. I know I didn't do anything with the Projectors except install the HID bulbs.

I am willing to bet the focal point is just off with the lmz causing light leaking over the cutoff shield.

There is a step in the cutoff shield that lowers the beam at the oncoming side fo traffic, which I highlighted with the colored lines.

The odd cutoff may be a product of bulb seating but it's an odd one for sure.

Your truck looks good. I like the white bumper and round fogs not like the 1500 chevys. I need to figure out what I am going to do with my headlights.

Subscribed. I am getting the LMZS bulbs for my headlights. Have a set on order, just waiting to get them at this point. Will let yall know how they compare to a 55W DDM HID kit

Thanks for that!! I guess I'll not be installing mine at all. I wanted my low beams to match my LED fog lights. I guess I'll put my stock fogs back in and forget the whole thing.

Thanks,

Tom

Tom,

I will say that my the LED Fog Lights and HID Headlights match at about 90%. Not 100%, but close enough. I wouldn't give up on improving your lights because of that.

That doesn't look to me like a crooked projector. That looks like what the HID projector-heads call an "artifact". It may be a stray reflection off of the metal bulb post.
