+1 baby!!!! I really had to bite my pride to buy another GM product after the bailout, but the 2015 ford was just too big a pile of dung (like my wife's 2012 ford).

Ventilated seats!! My wife's car has ventilated seats and it feels nice in the hot summer.. I just don't understand even a Dodge has ventilated seats!!

My 2015 LTZ Z71 has ventilated seats.

My choice isnt on the list... Pushbutton start. It is in the Yukon and Tahoe (and I didnt check but I assume its also in the Yukon XL and Suburban).

My last car was an VW with an MSRP under $30K, and it had it, so my truck that stickered near $60, should damn well have it... I will admit that I didn't think it would really like it when I bought my last car, but now it is pretty easily the thing I miss the most.

A few reasons:

1 - convenience

- You can walk up to the vehicle while carrying more things, because you do not have to have a hand free to dig for keys in your pocket, or plan to hold them before you get to the vehicle (which risks scratching up doors), you just need a finger or two free to touch and open a door

- hopping out at my mailbox, and not having to turn the car off - the keys are on the same ring, as I do not want to carry multiple key rings around (I have those stupid community mailboxes, instead of one in front of the house, I go on my way home from work, and while it seems like a small annoyance to have to turn off then back on the vehicle, it really does bother me much more than I ever realized before I had the key-less entry/start in my last car).

- remote start - every time I have remote started, I hop in the car, and then have to dig through my pocket for keys - remote start would work so well with proximity keys, you cannot move the shifter until the remote started car detects the proximity key is in the vehicle.

2 - lack of annoyance

- I cannot be the only person being driven crazy by my keys rattling against my steering column all the damn time... why did they not at least put soft touch plastics there, where it will cut down the damn noise, in my otherwise very quiet truck.

Had to move grams Chrysler 200 the other day I personally thought the push button was stupid, all it can do is add more cost at this point they cost enougg

I felt the same way when I bought my VW - and probably did for the first 2-3 weeks, but after living with it for years, it is awesome. Since you can buy "kits" to do a retrofit for about $150 online (but they look like retrofits unfortunately, I want stock integration), I doubt it would really be a significant cost, esp when considering the buying power the bulk GM purchases would afford.

I think my Cadillac CTS V is perfect, has the "keyless" entry where it detects the fob when you walk to the door but doesn't have a push button. You still turn it like there was a key, but is just a little lever or what ever you call it. Looks nice and don't have to get the key out of your pocket.

I hate remote starting my truck and then having to unlock it and then use the key. Always forget because I'm use to driving the caddy

A true off-road Z71 package similar to the F150 FX4 with more ground clearance. Better clearance for bigger tires too. Make the Z71 package actually mean something again, no more watered down sticker and shock packages.

The only thing the Fx4 package adds that the z71 doesn't is an electronic locking rear diff. Our trucks have the G80 automatic locking rear diff. which is arguably better. If GM raised the vehicle, and put bigger tires, MPG would take a big hit. That's a problem for GM and a lot of people

I have the same issue with remote start. I really liked the way VW did Keyless. It did not just unlock because it detected you just being close, you had to touch the handle, but there were no buttons... If you touched the inside of the handle, the door unlocked, if you touched the outside, it would lock, I don't know how the hell the the sensors worked - because hot/cold wouldn't screw them up (not heat sensors and not buttons), but they worked great, it never unlocked just because you were near it, but it did unlock when you reach inside the handle to open a door.

lol in no way could I consider the G80 to be superior to what Ford uses. On the Ford, you push a button and it locks. On a GM all you can do is hope the wheel spin is within the parameters for lock up.

Having had one in the family I can confirm that's not the way it works. Pushing the button means sometimes it works. My uncle has struggled with his, and the locker itself was replaced twice.
