Does anyone have the load chart for dynapro atm 305/45r22 xl? Im running them at 35 psi

I used to have a copy but lost it somewhere. You should be able to get a pretty good idea by looking at the load range for a similar ply and size tire. I've got a set of 'E' range Dynapro ATM's (275/65/r18's) and having been running at 50psi. If I remember correctly its about 7lbs high for general unloaded driving but things didn't feel right when I dropped the pressure down to 43lbs.

BTW really have been liking how the Dynapro ATM's have been working for general all around tires. Pretty quiet compared to the Duratracs my wife had on her Disco, and the Dynapro's have had nice handling characteristics so far.

lt275/65r20 is rated at 2680lb at 50psi

2475lb at 45psi

2280lbs at 40psi

2475lbs - 2280lbs 195

-------------- = ----- = 39 lbs per 1psi increase from 45-50

45psi - 40psi 5

2315-2280 = 35lbs

correct psi to match stock tire load would be rounded up to 41psi

not to call discount tire wrong, I'm just doing simple math according to the load charts.

I'll give the 41 psi a try. No doubt the Discount Tire guy may be wrong. Thanks

Did a lot of homework on this about one month ago..http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/166656-BFG-AT-KO2&do=findComment&comment=1560403

Ran 40 front and 38 rear for the winter but since the spring is here I find the front seems to be bouncing a little more than usual. I'm not hauling anything, this is my driving vehicle. Should I drop my front to 38 as well to remove some of the bounce?

iv had a couple sets of the Bfgoodrich all teerains and now i have the KO2 i like them with a higher PSI i run between 55-60 depending on the season/temp

275/55/20

I run mid 40's psi. If I'm driving my truck I'm hauling something in the bed, so I don't want to ever be under inflated.

There is no better substitute for actual load/PSI charts from the tire maker themselves. I got a chart for the BFG KO2's on my 2500. I got on their site and did a contact form request and they emailed me the chart. DO NOT specify the vehicle you have the tires on or they will just punt back to the OEM recommended pressures. Only state the tire type and size and they will give you what you want. You will get the best performance, best handling and braking, best ride, and best tire life using the tire maker load charts. They are the ones who put in all the R&D on their tires and know what is best.

I learned to follow load pressure charts with my commercial truck tires. It pays off. Got 447,000 miles out of my last set of drive tires on my semi and currently have 230,000 miles on the current set of steer tires. Just now considering replacing them. Nice even wear and still 8-9/32 tread life on them. The tire manufacturers know what they are doing. Pay attention to their recommendations.

Absolute minimum PSI for this tire is 35 PSI. This is the BFG pressure load chart for a LT275/55R20 KO2 load range ?

35 1750 40 1920 45 2085 50 2275 55 2400 60 2550 65

2680

If you call BFG and get the load pressure data in 5psi increments then I can plug that into my spreadsheet and give you a more accurate PSI by PSI breakdown.

So i have a ram 1500 and slapped on ko2's 10 ply load range D. I dont do much hauling, min a utility trailer. I have 275 60 r 20's on stock rims. What tire pressure should I have to get max mileage and should I air them down in Canadian winters. If so what should it be then?

I have 2020 Silverado RST and I replaced the original Bridgestone Duelers with BFG TA ko2s. 275/60/20.  D load rated. What the tire proper pressure? Installer put 45psi. Obviously truck sticker with original tires listing 35 is off. Need a little advice from the forum as this this first time I've had these tires. They sure look awesome on the truck. Thanks for your help!

    • I have the VSE CCV kit. It is a quality product. Fairly easy installation. I vent it back into the turbo intake horn, like stock. I check the reservoir monthly. I have seen oily water come out. So far, after 6 months I would say it has collected about 8-10 ounces of crap.
    • I'm getting out in public more these days and rely on a walker for anything more than short distances.  I am impressed with how kind others are in their efforts to assist when they see me doing the old man walker shuffle!  I find teenagers hanging out at the mall are often the first to get ahead of me to open a door or to offer me the opportunity to get in front of them in a lineup!  I am very fortunate that this is temporary for me and I have a developed a huge appreciation for those seniors struggling to maintain some mobility. Walkers, canes or scooters will assist with mobility but they don't eliminate the challenges.  Chances are the individual using these devices are hurting.  A few kind words of recognition from a stranger can take away the discomfort for a few moments.  I am looking forward to paying forward all of the kindness I have received!
    • Curious @newdude, how does this change when a 6L80 is either fitted with a billet converter OR is behind a V6 whose converter isn't a pile of junk? Oh, and are you saying in the above the 4-5-6 clutch's burning up is the result of the converter/pump induced failure or they are just fragile? Thanks in advance for any feedback you may be willing to give.
    • 5.3 Sierra with approximately 80,000 miles had a radiator replacement about 6 months ago which required pulling the AC condenser and a vacuum and recharge on the system.  AC cooled fine until about a month ago, when it would suddenly start blowing lukewarm air for 5 minutes at a time at various points throughout the day, then suddenly resume cooling again.  Sometimes its when stopped at an intersection and other times while moving.  I've read about the internal electronics in the compressor going bad on these trucks and not cycling properly, but sounds like many dealers just chase AC issues with a parts cannon.  Also wondering if they charged it correctly when the radiator was replaced.   Is there an easy way to see if these electronically driven compressors are engaging properly, or to check for freeze up, etc.?  Dealer usually wont do much unless they can replicate or I can show them a video of what's going on.
    • Apparently it doesn't trigger a fault, at least according to my dealer, but in one month its gone from once or twice a week to several times a day, so you can catch it on video and its likely to be seen by the dealer.  I've heard some have replaced only the switch, yet others have required full shifter assembly replacement to the tune of $900+?
