Had to remove the bumper and am trying to replace it will a new one.

What I need help with is disconnecting the connector for the rear sensors. There is a little red tab that is suppose to be pushed in or pulled out to removed the connector. It won't move and I don't want to force it the wrong way( I think I may have already busted something on the trailer wiring connector).

Anyway, which way does it go, in or out? Is the connector hard to pull apart. It seems you have to installed the wiring for the sensors in to bumper first; because that weak brace is in the way. Its also a pain to remove the upper rubber pad because of that little bolt on each end of the bumper and the bumper step pads have to be installed first before putting the bumper on.

Gm is out to lunch i n the design of removing the bumper and re-installing it. Supposedly you have to lift the box about 2" to get the brackets out with bumper attached and then installed with brackets attached to the bumper. A pain, pain.

I am going to try an installed the bumper to the brackets already on the truck. The only prolblem I see is those two little bolts at the end of the bumper holding the top pad on.

Anyway I fist need to get the sensor wiring disconnected from up under the tire.
