Im wanting to do a spray in bed liner then a bed mat to keep it from getting scraped up on the bottom, I was going to order the weathertech. Does anyone know if it will still fit with the spray in liner?

A spray in bedliner should have no affect on an aftermarket accessory like a bed mat since it only adds a fraction of a inch. At the same time a bed mat may be pretty redundant since a quality spray in liner won't chip unless used in extreme conditions repeatedly.

I also went with a Bedrug Mat and the tailgate mat. It's so much nicer on the knees than the spray in liner and nothing slides around.

I'm a little disappointed in my factory spray in liner - it's so coarse. It's like 45 grit sand paper. Pulling lumber across it literally sands it down and leaves wood dust on the liner. I had a GM drop-in liner in my 2014 and it was nice and soft. I wish GM would have used Rhino or something more rubber-based.

Rhino chunks and peels, i couldn't imagine the warranty issues with that.

I'd be cautious of doing a spray in and then the weather tech, as id bet it'll slide around. If i were you i'd do a spray in and go to a tractor supply type store and get a horse stall rubber mat.

The factory liner has the same texture that the Line X did in my 2003. Factory spray in is much thinner than the Line X liner.

I hate crawling around in the bed. I put up with it for 12 years in the 2003, but this time I sprung for the BedRug mat. Much easier on the knees.

How does the bed rug hold up to sharp objects scraping over it.

I want the weathertech mat, to also to add protection from dents and when/if things fall . It would help prevent objects from damaging, while also being able to take a beating. This is my theory, maybe it will work?

It Also looks nicer than a normal rubber bed mat, while costing almost same.

I got the Bedtred liner by Bedrug. Looks like a spray in, very durable, about half the cost. Looks much better then having a rug in the bed.

I'm on my third Bed Rug (not from wearing them out, third truck with one) and they stand up great, I haven't had any issues with tearing or anything and have even had battery acid spill on one and it cleaned right up. They also do a great job of keeping things from sliding around and they are comfortable to climb around on. I have even camped out at the lake in the bed of my truck with the tailgate down and a sleeping bag it makes for a comfortable little space.

Had I known how durable the my Bedrug was I never would have bothered with the Line-X.
