Beware RemoteLink users - app vulnerability

I havent seen this topic in the forum so if it is old news or needs to be moved please do so.

 

I ran across a video from a white hat hacker reporting that the RemoteLink app can leave owners open to having someone take control of their locking and remote start functions.

 

I use the app quite a bit, but can't tell when the alst update was done to see if it is after this vulnerability report.

 

Any updated info appreciated.
