Buying 2016 All Terrain - What factory accessories/options do I need?

I'd go 6.2 crew cab the thing is like a 4wheel drive corvette. Thing is like a rocket love it.

my only suggestion is the go ahead and order the

6.2

 

i have the 5.3...it gets the job done, father n law has the 6.2...world of difference.

he actually gets better gas mileage also.

 

other than that - get what you need for what you will use the truck for.

I found a silverado Z71 Custom Sport with the 6.2. I just like the Sierra so much better, and the one I have a deposit on qualifies for the 20% off incentive

I would take an 8 over a six if I had the option.

 

 

Get the drivers side assist handle. The best thing I put into the tuck to date.

 

The console tray if you have buckets.

 

I think the color match wheel arches are worth the money they make the truck looks so much better.

Get some kind of protective film for the painted front bumper, if its anything like the 14/15 models it'll chip to all hell in a matter of months

Picked up the truck this week and LOVE IT! The only options I ended up getting from the dealer were tint and a camper shell. The dealer's prices on all the accessories was a joke.

 

Just dropped it off for a clear bra this morning.

 

Any suggestions for winter care?

The first thing I do is install mudflaps, and get a Line-X bed liner. Accessories are personal preference really, it somes down to what you want and like. Dealership prices are always insane, they want top dollar and usually much more than most places so don't buy anything from them.

The 16 all terrain comes with a GM sprayliner

These might help. Also if you are going to use the Liquid Paint Sealant or H2O Guard and Gloss I would clay first. You would be supersized at what is on that new paint.

From the bottom of the body to 1 foot up the body my entire truck is wrapped in 3m. I also added pieces myself to cover the flare of the rear fenders in front of the tires. My headlights, hood, front fenders and filler panel are also wrapped. It's about the only way the paint will stay on this truck. I don't run those big boards though either as I took them off and tossed them... can't stand them on a truck this low to the ground.

 

I wouldn't really run the GM flaps either as I don't like how the plastic goes up against the fenders..... good way to rub the paint off. I have them and bought a set of gatorback no drill steel/rubber ones to replace the plastic gm ones.

U better check, if u go on GMC website and build ur own, when u click on all terrain package it clearly says spray on bed liner, and every one so far I've seen had it, maybe your got missed if so I'd say go fight for it

My 15 Sierra sle has a gm spray in, but it was an option.
