Genssi LED kit

Has anyone tried the Genssi LED conversion kit? Ebay has them for $99. Google returned zero results for reviews on these kits. Their video looks good but its not specific for a truck and only compared them to a cheap Ebay LED competitor. Looks to be plug and play. I am not real crazy about doing mods that require the cutting of the light housings as I believe that long term there will be issues with the durability of a glued, taped and putty sealed housing. My son just bought a 2014 Sierra and he is not happy with the lights.

Be sure to look at the lumens per set in the information, 4800-5500 means about 2400-2750 per bulb.

I have this style in right now, 4500 lumens per bulb. It's nice because you can adjust the depth of the bulb in the socket thus the spread of the light. Great output I think personally. They are better than my 2014 F150 halogens by far and my wife's VW tiguan halogens for both high and low beams. Both of these had better light than the my stock halogens prior.

Says fog, but it seems to be just a general mish mash naming by the distributors. Yes the ones I have are Chinese but bought from a distributor out of California. They have held up for 2 months in various degrees of weather here if that means anything (warm/cold/very cold temps, rain snow, etc).

All of my led lighting upgrades in my truck are made by genssi(except my running board puddle lights). I have their fogs, reverse lights, cargo lights, and under-rail bed lighting. I have been very pleased with them all. I do not have the headlights tho, so i cant speak on those specifically.

Looking at other posts the Morimoto HID's have a pretty high satisfaction rate. Looks like quality connectors. More than the LEDs though.
