So I installed a set of "plug'n'play" high and low LED lights on my Custom Trail Boss 2024 and even though I was told by the manufacturer that a lot of clients installed it without any problems, I got an kind of hyperflash or fast flicker ONLY when the truck get in auto stop and then restarts.

So I contacted the seller and he told me that even though it was strange because it was the first time he heard that, I should install an anti-flicker module, which I did. However, even with the anti-flicker module, I still get the hyperflash when the truck restarts after an auto start/stop. The rest of the time, everything work fine.

Anybody already had a similar issue and/or have any ideas?

Thanks for the help!

What brand of LED bulbs did you use?

It is a local guy in Canada where I’m from that sells this brand which is kind of unknown, but I had some good comments from some local folks so I went with them. Probably should have chosen something else I guess : https://ledenligne.com/products/kit-led-chevrolet-silverado-1500-custom-trail-boss-2019-2020?_pos=2&_sid=cf8d63283&_ss=r

Same for the anti-flicker modules https://ledenligne.com/collections/accessoires/products/decodeur-canbus-pour-led-haute-qualite?variant=18567027785826

Thanks!

Thanks!

I had hyperflashing on my last 2021 Trail Boss Custom. The LEDs I installed were hyperflashing on the turn signals. I also had hyperflashing on the license plate lights that I installed. Never used "anti flicker modules". In my situation I had cheap, sh*tty LEDs. I replaced those LEDs with Lasfits. Excellent LEDs no flashing and no modules. I now have a 2023 Trail Boss Custom and I replaced all incandescents with Lasfit LEDs. I did replace my incandescent tail/brake light assemblies with OEM LED tail/brake assemblies and had to install a resister wiring harness inline to prevent hyperflash on the rear turn signal LEDs. Got the resister harness from Gen5DYI. You obviously did not buy cheap LEDs $220 CAD. I would suggest trying to return your LEDs and purchase Lasfits (they have them on Amazon). This is not a commercial for Lasfit. They are just LEDs that I know work well.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Thanks for the hint. I might try Lasfit. Can you share a link to the exact ones you purchased for the LED low beams? Thanks again pal!
