They are a lot better I can actually see at night when it rains I have to always turn on my aftermarket led light bar with my GM because the headlights were terrible

Like I said I bought two brand new vehicles in 2014 from GM my 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 and a 2014 Chevy Cruze both have been huge headache with issues. If GM actually stood behind their vehicles they sold me and tried to help me and maybe give me a better deal on trade in I might have stayed with GM but I was in contact with GM loyalty in Canada and they would do absolutely nothing for me. So I switched I also got a wicked deal on trade in after driving my GM for 3 years almost and 45000 kilometers the new Ford only cost me $8,000 extra.

Seriously doubt it has anything to do with Ford vs Ram (Dodge) and more about description/presentation of GM issues.

yea i mean we obviously cant put ourselves in your shoes but i think the lemon thing is one thing but the dealer service is a whole different animal. i cant blame you and im sure you would consider a gm in the future.

Well good luck to you OP. The F-150 and Ram are both good trucks and they each have their issue too. Sometimes when this board is slow, I'll lurk over at the F-150 forums and honestly I can't tell the difference between here and there in regards to complaints. Warped dash? Check. Cooling seats not working? check, squeaks and rattles in the dash? check. Terrible mpgs? check. Mis-aligned body panels? check. Crappy quality leather seats? check. HVAC not working? check. Driving vibrations? check and check. I would say you're fooling yourself if you think there are fewer complaints there than here, but whatever makes you feel better about your decision. Want a laugh head over to Tacomaworld.com and check out the 3rd Gen Tacoma Board, it's now become so bad with complaints, that the members there are saying we're close to GM and Ford quality.

Now that right there is simply funny! I just about spit out my coke!

It's just hard for some of us to understand what could be so appealing about such an ugly truck like the Ford, as well as a V6 that needs a turbo, possibly? The Dodge at least is very nice looking, has a V8 that makes great sounds and has some power to boot, and it's a very comfortable and practical truck... Dodge seems more.. muscle and down to business where as Ford seems... a bit girlie, perhaps? uh oh. Sarah, be nice.

I took the F-150 on its first out of town truck I put 800 kilometers on it as well as 200 of it off-road and I averaged 14.2 liters per hundred k. Doing the exact same trip in my GMC was 17.9 liters per hundred k.. the stiffer suspension was way better off wrote the GM would kick out and almost take you into the ditch. I am the 4th person out of my buddies that have switched from GM to Ford and they will never go back. The ford handled the BC Hills way better than the GM with way more power

I figure the OP would come here and gloat about making his move to Ford. I mean who would come back here and say "Well, the grass isn't always greener, my new Ford has shakes, and the mpgs are rather disappointing." Like a gambler never mentions losing a bet, of course his new truck is going to handle better and get better mileage than his recently traded in GM eventhough all the expert reviews say contrary, especially how the new aluminum body drifts all over the road with no load and the 2.7 gets worse mileage than our 5.3. If I were the OP, I'd go brag up my new truck on the Ford forums rather than try to convince us here that Ford makes a better truck. Hell if I traded my truck in on one of those new Ridgelines, I'd be telling you how much more of a truck it is over GM too.
